The Clip Out Top Five Favorite Peloton Classes

TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (5/29/2024)

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

1. 5/11/23 Low Impact Ride with Benny Adami

2. 05/24/24 Rolling Stones Walk with Susie Chan

3. Scenic San Diego Row with Ash Pryor

4.  05/23/24 R&B Walk with Joslyn Thompson Rule

5.  05/26/24 Total Strength with Andy Speer

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Peloton Ride

5/11/23 Low Impact Ride  with Benny Adami

Marie Logue said she took this class and that Benny “should be more popular than he is – his classes (many in English) are fun and challenging and he’s just so joyful.”   This class includes some well known tunes from Abba as well as some songs from German artists.   Don’t sleep on the German instructors, folks – many also teach in English or check out our article that gives you tips to translate and enjoy foreign language classes.

2. Favorite Peloton Walk

05/24/24 Rolling Stones Walk with Susie Chan

Rich Glass said this walk is “now easily in my top 5 of all classes I have taken, either bike or tread.”  He said that between the music and Susie’s fantastic teaching, picking this class was easy, especially since he was specifically looking for a walk to do.  It would be impossible to pick a Rolling Stones song that isn’t energizing, but the playlist for this class has all the best songs, including “Honky Tonk Woman”, “Get Off of My Cloud” and “Start Me Up”, accompanied by Susie’s equally energetic coaching.

3. Favorite Peloton Row

Scenic San Diego Row with Ash Pryor

Karen Eindorf Marquez loved this scenic row, saying  “I loved seeing the water and will definitely be doing more of these (scenic classes).  And as usual, Ash’s coaching is great!”    Scenic classes can be so relaxing and can help you see the world from your home gym.  Check out our article about all that scenic classes have to offer!   These classes are only found on your equipment, though; they are not available on the app.

4. Favorite Peloton Outdoor Walk

05/23/24 R&B Walk with Joslyn Thompson Rule

Tina Buan said “I’ve taken this class a few times already!  The playlist brought me back to middle school days.”   The music includes “On Bended Knee” by Boyz II Men, which means you’re in a relaxed walking  state while Joslyn is sneakily getting your heart rate up! A nice warm up and cool down plus sixteen minutes of walking gives you a perfect low impact walk, especially good if you’re gearing up for a more intense workout or need a recovery day.

5. Favorite Unstackable Peloton Strength

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

05/19/24 Total Strength with Andy Speer

Lindsey Kelly subtly hinted at the “unstackableness” of this class with her comment about the mountain climbers (which she apparently is not fond of), but 60 minutes of Andy, some weights, and more than one round of mountain climbers clearly leads to a slipping-on-your-puddle-of-sweat unstackable experience.  Lindsey stated that the class had the “BEST PLAYLIST.  It was pretty much just MADE for my age group…my 14-year-old, who lifts with me, was like “Mom, you’re getting WAY too excited about every single song.  Bonus points to Andy for putting “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” between Weezer and Warren G.”  Leave it to Andy to make us so excited about the music that we forget that our muscles are screaming at us from every direction and are slowly turning into little piles of goo.

Thank you!
