Here is the 2022 Peloton History and Timeline, exclusively on The Clip Out.
2022 was the year Peloton hit reset. John Foley, the founder who had built the company from a Kickstarter idea to a Nasdaq-listed brand, stepped down as CEO in February. Barry McCarthy — former CFO of Spotify and Netflix — took over and began one of the most aggressive restructurings in the company’s history: thousands of layoffs, paused manufacturing, and a fundamental rethinking of what Peloton was and who it was for. Amid the turbulence, the Peloton Row launched, adding a third product category to the platform. Robin Arzón released Strong Mama. And through it all, the community stayed.
