Here is the 2023 Peloton History and Timeline, exclusively on The Clip Out.
2023 was the year Peloton stopped trying to be what it was and started building what it could become. Under Barry McCarthy, the company made its most significant strategic pivot yet — relaunching the app with tiered pricing to open the class library to anyone, whether they owned Peloton hardware or not. Partnerships with Amazon and Hilton expanded the brand’s reach beyond the home. Manufacturing was outsourced. The instructor community kept creating. And in the middle of it all, Robin Arzón announced her second pregnancy, Ash Pryor taught the platform’s first live rowing class, and the community that had survived two years of corporate turbulence showed it wasn’t going anywhere.
