The cross-training program is designed around a complete plan rather than a series of standalone workouts. Kennedy said the goal is to help members build muscle, improve conditioning, and increase stability, all built on a structured plan rather than random workouts. That philosophy shapes every week of the relaunch, from the strength days to the recovery windows built into the weekend.

What’s New in Rebecca Kennedy HiLit+

This round extends the cross-training program from four weeks to six, giving members more time to build strength before the cycle resets. Kennedy also added a third strength day, longer strength workouts, weekly jump training, and a dedicated deload week near the end of the program. She described the additions as more strength, more confidence, and more consistency, with every workout tied to a specific purpose and every week building on the one before it.

Rebecca Kennedy HiLit+ cross-training program - breakdown of the week

All a member needs to participate is a set of dumbbells. No additional equipment is required to follow the program through its full six week arc.

Weekly Schedule Breakdown

Each week of the cross-training program follows a consistent rhythm:

  • Monday: Strength training focused on hypertrophy, followed by a short low impact cardio segment
  • Tuesday: Outdoor power walk
  • Wednesday: Strength training focused on hypertrophy, followed by a short low impact cardio segment
  • Thursday: Pilates followed by a brief, easy outdoor walk
  • Friday: Strength training focused on hypertrophy, followed by a short low impact cardio segment
  • Saturday and Sunday: Recovery

Kennedy is also swapping treadmill walks for outdoor walks for the summer stretch of the program. Members can complete those sessions at home, while traveling, or anywhere they want to spend more time outside while still getting their steps and some sunlight.

Why Rebecca Kennedy HiLit+ Matters for Peloton

The original program is not a small data point for Peloton. It drew 400,000 participants in a single quarter and helped drive a 48% year-over-year surge in Pilates engagement, according to the company’s Q3 FY2026 earnings report. That kind of participation is part of why a longer, more structured follow-up landed on the calendar for summer.

How Rebecca Kennedy HiLit+ Releases Each Week

New classes drop every weekday once the program begins. Peloton Teams will also play a larger role this round. Members can connect with each other, share progress, and post directly within their Team, a feature that wasn’t previously available.

Kennedy framed the relaunch as a shift in mindset as much as a training plan. It isn’t about adding more workouts to a member’s week. It’s about building the capability to handle what’s already there. Rebecca Kennedy HiLit+ begins July 6.
