TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (8/7/2024)

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

  1. 1. 07/12/2024 30 Minute Low Impact Cardio with Rebecca Kennedy
  2. 07/29/2024 30 Minute Endurance Row with Alex Karwoski
  3. 12/15/2020 60 Minute Walk + Run with Matt Wilpers
  4. Rockstalgia Classes with Charlotte Weidenbach (in German)
  5. Roll Call Classes with Various Instructors

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

  1. Favorite Cardio

07/12/2024 30 Minute Low Impact Cardio with Rebecca Kennedy

Rebecca’s on fire lately and has a lot of followers of her overall programming.  One of her newest modalities are low impact cardio classes that throw some of us back to the days when cardio was everything.  Tiffany Cortez recommended this particular class saying “It was so fun! It’s a step workout and brought back all my memories from doing step in the 90s.  I was so engrossed I didn’t even look at a clock!”   Rebecca’s low impact cardio classes can easily be done with or without a step, so if you have one collecting dust in your basement, dig it out and add it to your exercise equipment – your legs will thank you!

  1. Favorite Row

07/29/2024 30 Minute Endurance Row with Alex Karwoski

Our most intriguing recommendation to date comes from Sarah Lester, who recommended this row.  Sarah said “If they gave out awards for exercise classes, this class would at least get a nomination.  Even if you don’t have a row, it’s worth a listen.  At first I was underwhelmed.  While the first 25 minutes were interesting I wasn’t sure why he was talking about it given we are in July.  He wrapped it up with a brilliant bow in the last 5 minutes.  I won’t spoil the ending, but he was humble, thankful, funny, retrospective and thinking forward all in one. Brilliant!”  Who doesn’t want to take this class now?  Thanks for the mystery, Sarah!

  1. Favorite Walk + Run

12/15/2020 60 Minute Walk + Run  with Matt Wilpers

You have to take a ride in the way-back-time-machine to find Walk +Run classes with Matt, but it’s worth it!  Cristina Ribeiro (#Lilpowerhouse) said “I love that this class can be taken on the tread or outside.  I took it as an endurance run outside.  I learned so much from Matt about the benefits of walk-run-walk-run approach during a long distance race with some tips added regarding conditioning, mobility, and strength.  As any other one of Matt’s classes it was  “class.”  The playlist is a journey through the decades from the 70’s to the 2000’s with a couple of movie soundtracks.  I will definitely take it again!”

  1. Favorite Bike Theme Classes

Rockstalgia Classes with Charlotte Weidenbach  (in German)

First, rock music – ‘nough said.  Second, if you haven’t branched out and taken some German instructors, this is your push to do just that.  (See our blog post for helpful hints about translations while you ride.)    Susan Neu loves these classes because “the music and Charlotte’s presence are amazing!  They’re in German but easy to follow with German subtitles.”    There are currently six classes in this series, which you can find under collections on the Peloton platform – each with an amazing playlist of so many rock artists.   Feel like a rock star while you ride along!

  1. Favorite Unstackable Strength Series

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

Roll Call Classes with Various Instructors

The Roll Call classes, which are on the daily schedule with past classes being available under collections, as  we pointed out in our blog post, take the guesswork out of  picking strength classes.  If you take these classes as they drop each week, you’ll get a great workout for every part of the body and get to try out different instructors too.  Karen Eindorf Marquez recommended these classes, saying “I’m really liking the classes, the bite-sized length, and the level of soreness.”  That soreness could make these unstackable – or if you love some pain, go for it!   There is also a beginner series, if you’re new to strength.

Thank you!
