Peloton Spaces Launches a Top Tier Standard for Apartment Gyms
Building amenities have long included a room with a few treadmills and a weight rack. Peloton Spaces is a different proposition. Peloton’s commercial fitness offering transforms residential fitness centers into fully branded, equipment-forward workout environments — and following Peloton’s rollout with The University of Texas in 2025, an upscale Texas apartment community is the latest to put it on display.
What Is Peloton Spaces?
Peloton Spaces is a commercial program offered through Peloton for Business that installs Pro Series equipment, branded environmental design, and instructor-led digital content into commercial fitness facilities. The setup goes beyond dropping machines into a room. Each space includes a 3D Peloton logo, wall and mirror graphics, and co-branded signage, along with customizable marketing materials that properties can use to promote the amenity to residents and prospective tenants.
The program is structured in three tiers based on square footage and equipment count:
Tier 1 covers a minimum footprint of 20 by 15 feet and accommodates two to four pieces of equipment. Tier 2 runs at least 30 by 20 feet with five to nine pieces of equipment. Tier 3, the largest configuration, requires a footprint of at least 50 by 30 feet and supports up to 24 machines. Each tier also comes with a year of quarterly engagement reports tracking equipment usage and resident preferences.
The Goodrich in Conroe, Texas
Marathon Fitness, a commercial fitness equipment dealer, spotlighted one residential installation on LinkedIn this week: The Goodrich, an apartment community in Conroe, Texas. The property’s Peloton Space features two Bike+ Pro machines, two Tread+ Pro machines, and accessories for strength, yoga, and stretching. Residents also get access to the full Peloton content library, which covers cycling, running, strength, yoga, meditation, stretching, and more — all available on and off the equipment.
Why Residential Properties Are Moving in This Direction
Peloton’s own research, conducted in November 2024 among apartment and condo residents, found that the fitness center is the single most important amenity when residents decide where to live. The same survey found Peloton to be the most appealing fitness brand for a dedicated fitness and wellness space in a residential building, ranking ahead of other equipment options for stationary bikes, rowers, and treadmills.
Separately, data from a September 2025 survey of roughly 1,094 University of Texas at Austin students found that 60 percent felt more motivated to work out because their campus had a Peloton Space. Among incoming freshmen surveyed, 40 percent said access to a Peloton Space was a factor in their school selection.
The residential pitch from Peloton for Business is direct: amenities that attract residents and keep them engaged after move-in. Peloton’s commercial division, bolstered by its 2021 acquisition of Precor, has steadily expanded its presence in hotels, universities, corporate campuses, and multi-family residential properties. Peloton Spaces represents the program’s most structured and branded commercial offering to date.
