Peloton is launching a new cross-training series called Run + Flow, and the Peloton Run and Flow series is built around a training philosophy Mariana Fernandez has followed for more than 30 years. The series pairs treadmill running with a yoga recovery flow in a single, seamless workout, and the first class drops on June 5.

Peloton Studios announced the series on Instagram, describing the concept as “pairing running with yoga to help you build strength, improve mobility, and recover smarter.” Classes release on demand every two weeks, starting June 5 at 12 AM ET / 5 AM BST.

What Is Peloton Run and Flow?

Peloton Run and Flow is a four-class series in which each workout moves directly from a treadmill run to a mat-based yoga flow with no break in between. Members start on the Tread, complete their miles, remove their shoes, and transition immediately to the mat for a yoga recovery session. The structure is designed so the two modalities work together rather than separately.

Mariana Fernandez described the method in the series announcement: “We’re going to get our miles on the Tread first and then we take our sneakers off and head directly to the mat, where we build a flow together.” She added that the format reflects how she has personally trained for years, calling it “the ultimate training routine to keep your body moving.”

Each of the four classes in the series covers a distinct focus: tackling the miles, improving the mind-body connection, and building recovery habits that carry over into weekly training. Fernandez noted that yoga beginners are welcome, saying the series starts with the basics and builds from there.

Why Mariana Fernandez Created Peloton Run and Flow

Mariana Fernandez has been running and racing for more than 30 years. She framed the series as the answer to a question she hears often: how has she sustained that level of training for so long? Her answer centers on recovery. “It’s all about how you take care of your body after all those miles,” she said in the announcement video.

That longevity shows up consistently in everything she does on the platform. Peloton celebrated her five-year Peloton anniversary this spring with the launch of Mariana’s Greatest Hits Collection, a 60-class library spanning the full range of her work from the Tread to the mat. She also joined fellow instructor Camila Ramón at the Brooklyn Half Marathon in May, and she is part of the instructor lineup for Peloton’s Pace Your Race marathon training program. The run-to-recovery philosophy at its core is not a new concept for her. It is the through line of her entire approach to athletic life.

That framing sets Peloton Run and Flow apart from standard treadmill or yoga content. This is not a beginner running program or a standalone yoga collection. It is a structured recovery and mobility framework built for runners who want to train consistently without sacrificing longevity. For a closer look at how Fernandez coaches endurance on the Tread, the 90-minute run anniversary class review covers her approach in depth.

Peloton Run and Flow Class Schedule

The series rolls out on a biweekly schedule, with one class releasing every two weeks starting June 5. All classes are available on demand.

  • First class available: June 5 at 12 AM ET / 5 AM BST
  • Total classes in the series: 4
  • Release cadence: One new class every two weeks
  • Format: Treadmill run followed immediately by mat yoga flow
  • Instructor: Mariana
  • Experience level: All levels, including yoga beginners

To find the classes, search “Run and Flow” in the Peloton app or browse her instructor profile. Each class will appear in the on-demand library as it goes live on its release date.

If you are new to Mariana Fernandez or want to explore the full range of what she brings to the platform, the Mariana Fernandez Greatest Hits Collection is a strong starting point. The 60-class library spans her running, yoga, and Spanish-language content and gives a clear picture of the instructor behind this new series.

What to Expect From Peloton Run and Flow

Each Peloton Run and Flow class is structured as a single continuous session. The run portion takes place on the Tread, and members transition directly to the mat for the yoga flow without changing equipment or pausing. Fernandez has designed the yoga segment to target the muscle groups most affected by running, with an emphasis on mobility, hip flexibility, and recovery breathing.

For members who think yoga is not for them, Fernandez addressed that directly in the announcement: “Don’t worry, I’ve got you.” The series starts at a foundational level and builds progressively across all four classes, so no prior yoga experience is needed to begin with class one.

The combination of running and yoga in one session reflects how Peloton continues to expand its cross-training library. Pairing cardio with mobility and recovery work in a single structured format removes the barrier of scheduling them separately, and it puts both inside one intentional workout. That is the premise behind Peloton Run and Flow, and it is one that Mariana Fernandez has been making the case for, through her own training, for decades.
