We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

4/27/23 10 min Acceptance Meditation with Kristin McGee

12/22/23 10 min Core Strength with Rebecca Kennedy

4/29/24 45 min Climb: Palomar Mountain Part 1 with Christine D’Ercole

5/5/24 30 min Gloriously Gospel Ride with Cliff Dwenger

5/2/24 90 min 2010s Run with Mariana Fernández

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1.  Favorite Peloton Meditation

4/27/23 10 min Acceptance Meditation with Kristin McGee

In this crazy world, it’s hard to take a moment to just slow down.  But, the opportunity to do that is exactly what Kristin McGee provides in this Acceptance Meditation from April 27, 2023.  This meditation focuses on simple messages that convey to everyone.  Debbie Koa Pino says, “After weeks of searching, I finally found and retook Kristin’s Acceptance Meditation from 4/27/23. This is the most amazing meditation filled with a simple yet soul nourishing mantra and message that will really hit home and benefit everyone. It’s a true gem!”

2.  Favorite Peloton Core Strength

12/22/23 10 min Core Strength with Rebecca Kennedy

RK’s strength classes in general have been on fire as of late and, when it comes to her core classes, you can always count on a good burn.  Donna Roccia Markussen especially loves this class from December 22, 2023, telling us, “Anything Rebecca Kennedy, and since taking this 10 minute stackable core class a hundred times, feel it’s worth repeating. One really hard core workout and she utilizes every second, great music “Gloria Gaynor, I Will Survive” keeps it going. She references “Getting old is a privilege, getting strong is a choice.”

3.  Favorite Peloton Climb

4/29/24 45 min Climb: Palomar Mountain Part 1 with Christine D’Ercole

CDE is bringing her legendary climbs to the Peloton platform in her new series, aptly named, Legendary Climbs.  First in the series was her Palomar Mountain (Part 1) climb and you guys LOVED it.  Claudia Patricia Garcia says, “CDE 4/29/24 Palomar climb… It was a challenging ride. But the coaching was excellent and it never felt impossible. The music was also really good. I think it will be a fun climb series when the 3 rides are done.”

Elyse Freedman added, “I loved the music and also the way she cued everything. I enjoyed how she broke down each area of the climb, such as the sections of the climb. Looking forward to doing the second part of it later this week.”

Gwendolyn Dawson chimed in,  “CDE’s Palomer climb was fantastic. Great coaching and a nice steady effort. Challenging but also doable. I also did the 10 min warm up before and the 10 min cool down afterwards, and those were great as well.”

We can’t wait to see the reaction if/when the Haleakala Ride makes it into this series.

4.  Favorite Peloton Ride

5/5/24 30 min Gloriously Gospel Ride with Cliff Dwenger

Cue the Hallelujahs and Amens!  Cliffs Glorious Gospel Ride from his Glorious Gospel series was a huge hit among the cyclists of the group.  Cliff uses these rides to showcase the uplifting and joy-filled songs in the Gospel genre, complete with a backup choir.  Because, let’s be honest, what even is Gospel without a choir?!  Debra Mericantante Anzalone recommends this ride in particular, saying, “Cliff’s latest Gospel Ride was another awesome uplifting ride!! Loved it! So pumped!! Just what I needed on a Monday evening!!”

Favorite Unstackable Peloton Run

5/2/24 90 min 2010s Run with Mariana Fernández

90 minutes on the Tread with Mariana?  Yeah, that sounds pretty unstackable to us, too.  However, several intrepid TCO listeners hopped on to sweat it out with her and lived to tell the tale.  Karentina Fujinaga tells us, “Mariana’s 90 min run fit both the best class of my week AND it was unstackable. She had awesome music, cues, stories and heart. ❤️ made me say- more Tia on the tread please!!”  Crystal agreed! “I loved this class! The stories were so full of heart.”
