Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge

Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge Kicks Off With 5 Classes

Five confirmed classes and a Backstreet Boys Artist Series stop give members several ways to earn the week’s badge.

The Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge is live from August 10 through August 15, giving members a shot at a limited-time badge built around throwback boy band music. More than 29,000 people joined before the event even started, and the week lines up with a new Backstreet Boys Artist Series stop on the live schedule.

Members can earn a badge in the Boy Band Week Challenge by completing three, five, or ten classes tagged with the collection during the six-day window. Peloton’s challenge page showed 29,169 participants shortly after it went live, a strong early signal for a themed week built around music rather than a single instructor or modality.

How the Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge Works

The Boy Band Week Challenge runs from Monday, August 10, through Saturday, August 15, 2026. Members who complete three classes earn the entry level badge, with additional tiers unlocked at five and ten classes. The challenge tracks any workout tagged to the Boy Band Week collection, so members can mix cycling, running, and strength to reach their goal instead of sticking to a single discipline.

It is not clear whether classes from past boy band themed collections taken before August 10 will count toward this badge. Peloton’s challenge description points to classes completed during the window itself, but the company has not spelled out whether older on-demand boy band content also applies. We hope it does, since that would give members a head start, but until Peloton clarifies, the safest approach is to treat the badge as tied to classes taken between August 10 and 15.

Boy Band Mixtape and Countdown Classes on the Schedule

The collection spans multiple formats and instructors. Confirmed Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge classes include:

  • 20 minute Boy Band Mixtape Ride with Bradley Rose (Cycling, Encore)
  • 20 minute Boy Band Mixtape Ride with Erik Jäger (Cycling, Premiere)
  • 20 minute Boy Band Mixtape Arms & Shoulders with Assal Arian (Strength, Intermediate, Premiere)
  • 30 minute Live Boy Band Countdown Ride with Cody Rigsby (Cycling, Live)
  • 30 minute Live Boy Band Countdown Run with Jon Hosking (Running, Live, Pace Targets)

The mix of Encore, Premiere, and Live formats gives members several entry points into the Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge regardless of when they log on, and the addition of a running class with Pace Targets extends the collection beyond the bike.

Backstreet Boys Artist Series Overlaps With Boy Band Week

The timing is not a coincidence. The Backstreet Boys Artist Series returns to the live schedule on Thursday, August 13, right in the middle of the Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge window. Mariana Fernández teaches a 30 minute Yoga Flow from 5:30 to 6:00 PM ET, followed by Ally Love’s 30 minute ride from 7:00 to 7:30 PM ET, both from Peloton Studios New York, as The Clip Out detailed in its August Artist Series coverage. Additional Backstreet Boys Artist Series classes across other formats are expected to follow, based on the pattern from the group’s prior series.

This marks the group’s first live series since Peloton cancelled a planned Backstreet Boys Artist Series in April, and it arrives while the band is mid residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. Members chasing a badge in the Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge now have a live Backstreet Boys Artist Series class to fold into their count, with more classes likely to be added to the collection as the week continues.

More Classes Likely Before the Week Wraps

Peloton has not published a complete class list for the Boy Band Week Challenge, and additional Encore, Premiere, or Live classes may still be added to the collection before August 15. Members working toward the ten class badge tier will want to check the schedule regularly, since the current five confirmed classes leave some room to close that gap using the Backstreet Boys Artist Series or additional throwback programming still to come.

Between the five confirmed classes, the badge tiers, and the Backstreet Boys Artist Series overlap, the Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge gives members a full week of options across cycling, running, and strength. Members who complete the badge early still have new Backstreet Boys Artist Series content and possible surprise Boy Band Week additions to look forward to before the challenge closes on August 15.
