Mariana Fernandez Run Club Invite Sparks Buzz for July 29
A Mariana Fernandez Run Club Invite Has Members Excited
An invitation shared by members points to a July 29 event at Peloton Studios New York, and it’s built around a format the run club hasn’t tried before.
Excitement is building around a Mariana Fernandez Run Club invite that started circulating among members via Reddit this week, pointing to a special edition of Peloton Studios New York’s outdoor run series on Wednesday, July 29. As of this writing, Peloton has not yet posted this event on its official Run Club booking page or announced it through its usual social channels, so details could shift before the date shared here.

The invite says the event is built around Mariana Fernandez bringing her Run + Flow program to life in person. Members will start with a 5K run along the West Side Highway, then head back to the studio for a restorative yoga flow, followed by a mix and mingle session. Check-in begins at 5:15 p.m., with a warm-up starting at 5:45 p.m., giving the evening a relaxed, community-first pace from start to finish.
A Fresh Take on the Usual Format
This is where the Mariana Fernandez Run Club stands apart from what The Clip Out covers for Peloton’s other run club events. These outdoor run clubs, including February’s Women’s History Month runs, the APIHM Run Club in May, and April’s event with Becs Gentry, have typically organized several pace groups so the event works for a range of abilities. The April run, for example, offered four options: sub 10-minute mile, 10 to 12-minute mile, walk plus run, and walking.
This invite, however, lists one pace group, 10 to 12 minutes per mile, for the whole run. Rather than reading that as a limitation, it looks like Peloton may be leaning into something more intimate: a single, unified group moving together at one pace, built specifically around the spirit of Fernandez’s Run + Flow concept. According to the Redditors, this was received by Peloton members who both fit that pace and have been taking these classes.

Mariana Fernandez Brings Run + Flow Off the Tread
The timing lines up beautifully with a program Fernandez has been building all summer. Peloton Run + Flow launched June 5 as a four-class series pairing treadmill runs directly with a mat-based yoga recovery flow. The fourth and final class in that series landed July 17. Taking that same run-then-recover philosophy outside and into a live studio event is a natural, exciting next step.
Fernandez has spent more than 30 years training around this exact idea: log the miles, then recover with intention. Peloton celebrated her five-year anniversary this spring with a 60-class Greatest Hits Collection spanning her running, yoga, and Spanish-language work. She has also run the NYC Marathon multiple times and placed second in her age group at a 2024 triathlon in San Diego. That combination of personal mileage and genuine warmth is part of why members respond to her the way they do, and it is exactly what makes an in-person Run + Flow experience feel special rather than routine.
Keep an Eye on Peloton’s Official Channels
Peloton Studios New York’s most recent outdoor run club was held on on July 15 with a 5K led by Selena Samuela, and The Clip Out’s run club registration roundup page has been updated regularly throughout the year with new dates. A Fernandez-led Run + Flow event would fit right into that momentum. Peloton has not confirmed this one publicly yet, so members hoping to attend should watch the official booking page for the registration link and any updates, should the registration open to the public at a later date.
If the details in this invite hold, July 29 could turn into one of the more memorable entries in Peloton’s outdoor run club calendar this year, and a fitting way to close out a summer that has already leaned heavily into Fernandez’s run-to-recovery philosophy.
