Before Peloton, Aditi Shah was a working actress in New York. She trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and booked television credits including Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer (2015), CBS’s Elementary (2015), and HBO’s Crashing. She also studied mathematics at Rutgers University and trained in yoga in India under instructors she has described as among the best in the country, before spending years teaching yoga in New York, including a class for thousands of people in Times Square.

Aditi joined Peloton in 2018 as the platform’s first yoga and meditation instructor, recruited specifically to build that programming from the ground up. In December 2023, she marked five years on the platform alongside fellow Peloton yoga instructors Kristin McGee and Anna Greenberg, with Clip Out coverage describing her teaching style as a blend of tradition, creativity, and fun meant to help students “lead with an open heart.”

Through 2026, Aditi has built a visible advocacy and media presence off the platform, one that runs parallel to her teaching. That work includes a fireside chat with breast cancer advocate Olivia Munn at Harvard, a feature in mindbodygreen on wellness burnout, and a panel appearance during Cannes Lions week focused on women’s health and media.
