Jess Sims and Kirsten Ferguson will lead a community run and coffee chat during WNBA All-Star weekend

TOGETHXR House is bringing Peloton instructors Jess Sims and Kirsten Ferguson to Chicago for a community run during WNBA All-Star weekend, giving fans a chance to move alongside two familiar faces before the on-court action begins.

The event takes place Saturday, July 25, at the venue, located at 113 N Elizabeth St in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Arrival starts at 9:30 a.m., with the run running from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A Courtside Coffee Chat follows at 11:30 a.m.

Free to Attend

The morning begins with a 5K route through the West Loop, starting and ending at the venue. The pair will lead the run alongside Cooldown, a national run club community with chapters in more than 15 cities. Cooldown describes itself as part social club and part apparel brand, and its Chicago chapter has built a loyal following of runners at all pace levels. It’s the latest addition to a growing list of Peloton run club events happening across cities this year.

After the run, attendees can recover at the Peloton Boost Bar, which will serve coffee and grab-and-go drinks exclusively on Saturday. From there, the group moves into the Courtside Coffee Chat, a live conversation moderated by Kirsten Ferguson. Jess Sims will join alongside sports analysts Monica McNutt and Ros Gold-Onwude for a discussion covering fitness, culture, and the momentum building around women’s sports.

  • Arrival: 9:30 a.m.
  • Run: 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
  • Courtside Coffee Chat: 11:30 a.m.
  • Location: TOGETHXR House, 113 N Elizabeth St, Chicago, IL 60607

Registration Details

Registration is free, and it’s open to both Peloton members and non-members. A waiver is required before participating, and attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather since there are no shower facilities on site. Parking isn’t available at the venue, though the Madison & Aberdeen bus stop is a five-minute walk away, and the Morgan subway station is roughly 10 to 15 minutes on foot. Full event details and RSVP registration are available through Peloton’s event page.

The run is part of a larger slate of programming during WNBA All-Star weekend, which runs Friday, July 24 through Saturday, July 25. The house is free and open to the public during that window, with select programming, including the Peloton-powered run, requiring RSVP due to limited capacity.

Pairing Jess Sims and Kirsten Ferguson with a live conversation about women’s sports culture reflects a broader push from Peloton to show up in spaces where its instructors can connect with communities outside the app. Sims in particular has built a growing presence in women’s basketball media, most recently through her ESPN role at the NCAA Women’s Final Four, making TOGETHXR House a natural extension of that work during a weekend built around visibility for women’s athletics.
