Tempo X Ride Celebrates One Year With a 30-Minute Finale

Erik Jäger brings his interval signature series back for one last live class on Sunday, October 18.

Erik Jäger is taking the Tempo X Ride live one final time. Peloton Deutschland confirmed the 30-minute German-language class streams Sunday, October 18, at 9:00 a.m. CEST, which is 3:00 a.m. ET, and called it the live finale of the series.

The date carries weight. The series’ first class aired October 18, 2025, so the finale lands exactly one year after it began. Peloton’s German social post leaned into a cycling pun, saying Erik is shifting into Tempo X with members one last time and urging them not to miss the live finale this Sunday.

How the Tempo X Ride Works

Tempo X is Erik’s signature series built around interval training on the Bike. Peloton’s collection description lays out a three-part structure: move to the original version of a song, push your pace when the remix arrives, then refocus during recovery.

That format gives each class a clear rhythm. The original track sets the baseline, and the remix is the cue to pick up the tempo. The promo for the finale, headlined “Tempo X ist zurück” (Tempo X is back), promises new remixes and a new ride.

Every Tempo X Ride runs 30 minutes, and every class in the series is taught in German. Erik has led all of them.

Every Tempo X Ride in the Collection So Far

The Tempo X Ride collection in the Peloton App currently holds six classes, all filed under Cycling. Each one first aired on the following dates:

• Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 3:00 a.m. ET (9:00 a.m. CEST)
• Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 3:00 a.m. ET (9:00 a.m. CET)
• Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 3:00 a.m. ET (9:00 a.m. CET)
• Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. CET)
• Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. ET (8:00 p.m. CET)
• Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. CET)

The series ran monthly through the winter before going quiet after March. Sunday’s class ends a seven-month gap and brings the series full circle. Members who have not tried the series yet can work through all six classes on demand before the finale.

Erik Jäger Brings Range Beyond the Bike

Erik joined Peloton in early 2020 as the platform’s second German-speaking instructor, and his catalog now reaches well past cycling. He also leads Peloton Strength with Bench, a monthly German-language strength series. Tempo X follows the same pattern: a recurring format members can count on, built around one clear idea.

In Peloton’s introduction to Erik, he describes his coaching approach as pushing people in a healthy way and getting through the hard work together as a team. The remix intervals in Tempo X put that approach into practice, with recovery built in after every push.

Members newer to his classes can catch up on his path from personal training to Peloton in our four-year retrospective on his time at Peloton.

How to Catch the Final Tempo X Ride Live

The finale streams live Sunday, October 18, at 9:00 a.m. CEST in Germany, which is Sunday, October 18, at 3:00 a.m. ET. The class is in German and sits alongside Peloton’s other German-language classes in the schedule.

Members who can’t make the early start in North America have another option. Like the six classes before it, the finale is expected to join the collection on demand after it airs.

Peloton has not said whether Tempo X will return after Sunday. Its own promotion calls this the finale, which makes October 18 the last scheduled chance to take a Tempo X Ride live with Erik and close out a full year of the series in real time.
