Why You Loved Them!
Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.
1. Favorite Peloton Walk
05/18/24 20 Million Minutes Walk with Adrian Williams and Alex Toussaint
What’s better than one amazing instructor for a walk/run? Two amazing instructors, plus some famous athletes, are in the room as well (of course we won’t tell you who – you have to take the class!) Adrian and Alex are on fire during this walk/run – it’s just tough enough that even the aforementioned athletes were sweating, but definitely “do-able” by even those just starting out in their fitness journey. Jessica Sanford said this class was “so freakin good” and Sarah Lester agreed that it was “even better seeing that I was definitely faster than the professional athletes in the room (and I’m NOT speedy) was a confidence builder”. (There were a few, as Sarah mentioned “hanging onto the side and walking at 1.5 mph.” – again, make sure to take the class and see for yourself!) Adrian and Alex gave us some good vibes focused on being positive, which can help us both physically and mentally!
2. Favorite Peloton Strength Class
5/10/2024 Arms and Shoulders Strength with Rebecca Kennedy
What’s better than doing a tough strength workout in just ten minutes? Nothing we can think of! Kim Harden Battles said that this class is a “bicep killer.” Don’t be fooled by Rebecca’s recommendation that you use light weights – you’ll find that after twelve different movements in ten minutes, your arms are screaming at you to stop! This class definitely burns out the biceps but also fits in a sneaky good amount of shoulders, triceps, and forearms.
3. Favorite Peloton Power Zone Ride
4/17/2024 Power Zone Endurance Ride with Hannah Frankson
For you power zone riders, check out Hannah’s class, which was Laura McGinty’s favorite ride this week. Laura said she had never taken a class with Hannah and she “…loved her. Loved the playlist too.” With songs like “Give It To Me” (featuring Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and Nelly Furtado), Still D.R.E> (feat./ Snoop Dog and with Dr. Dre), and “Like This” by Mims, plus many more, this 45-minute ride is sure to keep you moving and grooving as you focus on building aerobic endurance with intervals in zones 2 and 3.
4. Favorite Peloton Class Modality
Any Day and Any Time Just Walk with…. YOU!
This week, we decided to highlight Niki Bolze Tilicki’s suggestion to use the Just Walk feature and create your own class! Sometimes you might want to just do your own thing – whether it’s listening to that podcast you’ve wanted to hear (we highly recommend The Clip Out podcast…. Just sayin’), or as NIki suggested, “I listened to an audiobook and got pelo credit!” This is a smart way to keep up with your reading list and your fitness goals!
5. Favorite Unstackable Peloton Ride
Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.
05/12/24 Metal Ride with Charlotte Weidenbach
Metalheads rejoice – and get a good workout at the same time. This class definitely brings on the head-banging with songs by Slipknot and Bad Omens. Billy Lenoir II used multiple exclamation points in his review of this class. 😀 Billy said “It was super hard and the playlist was epic! We finally got a Sleep Token song!!! This for me is the hardest metal class since the days of JJ.” With a difficulty rating of 8.3/10 from the Peloton community and a playlist described as “hardcore” and “headbanging”, you might want to throw on some yacht rock when this class is over!
