TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (2/5/2025)
Every Monday, we ask The Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!
This week’s favorite Peloton classes:
1. 01/27/2025 20 Minute Core Strength with Joslyn Thompson Rule
2. 11/27/2020 45 Minute Bring the Heat Run with Becs Gentry
3. 02/02/2025 30 Minute Yin Yoga with Nico Sarani
4. 11/17/2024 45 Minute Power Zone Classic Rock Ride with Christian Vande Velde
5. 02/02/2025 20 Minute Arms and Shoulders Strength with Rebecca Kennedy
Why you loved them!
Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.
1. Favorite Core Class
01/27/2025 20 Minute Core Strength with Joslyn Thompson Rule
Sometimes change is good. Theceliathlete nominated this class, where Joslyn stepped in for Ben Aldis. Theceliathlete said “I love the way this class was structured and Joslyn’s cues. I want more strength with Joslyn in the future!” This class uses heavy, medium, and light weights (that’s a lot of weights for a core class) and starts with a movement that, according to Jocelyn, “many might dislike.” Just remember, often the most detested moves often give us the best results!
2. Favorite Run
11/27/2020 45 Minute Bring the Heat Run with Becs Gentry
Cristina Ribeiro (#LilPowerhouse) found covid-era class in her bookmarked classes and loved it! She said “What I loved the most about it is the playlist featuring all songs to say “thank you” and be grateful for something or someone. Becs adds thoughtful and inspiring words too. A beautiful reminder to be thankful always, because there’s always a reason to be grateful even when everything may seem or feel the opposite. Run or walk this class when you can!”
3. Favorite Yoga Class
02/02/2025 30 Minute Yin Yoga with Nico Sarani
This relaxing class was nominated by Karen Smith. Karen said “I haven’t been a big fan of yoga, but this class was fantastic! It’s slower paced and you hold the movements longer, and it’s focused on hip openers. Pretty doable for this very nonflexible body. It was also my first class with Nico and I loved her playful commentary and how she interacted with those in studio!” Another example of why we should all try new things on the Peloton platform!
4. Favorite Power Zone Ride
11/17/2024 45 Minute Power Zone Classic Rock Ride with Christian Vande Velde
This class, nominated by Suzie Brunzell, has fabulous music and great powerzone programming! Suzie said “This is part of the Week 5 rides of the current Power Zone Pack challenge. Super intimidating with 5 zone 6 intervals but completely doable with plenty of zone 2 recoveries. You’ll feel so strong when it’s done.” Suzie also pointed out that the class was made special by the fact that a group of friends took the class live wearing purple to support their favorite cause – Christian just happened to also be wearing purple! We love when the universe sends us signs like that.
5. Favorite Unstackable Strength Class
Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.
02/02/2025 20 Minute Arms and Shoulders Strength with Rebecca Kennedy
This class came from yours truly (#tinaspinnereena). I wanted a quick upper body class because I was short on time and feeling a bit under the weather. I should have known that it’s impossible for Rebecca to program strength classes that are “a quick, light twenty minutes.” The warmup includes a full minute of holding medium weights straight above your head while marching. Rebecca then moves into three rounds of EMOMs that include four different moves – with three tricep pushups at the end of each EMOM. This class left my arms like jelly, and twenty minutes was more than enough, but the time flew by because the variety of moves definitely kept my brain busy. Even the warm up had some unusual moves that helped keep me focused!
Thank you!
