Peloton Muse Partnership Launches on Meta’s New AI Agent

Last Updated: September 8, 2026By Tags: ,

Peloton is now a connected partner within Meta’s new AI product, Muse, as of this afternoon. The Peloton Muse partnership means Members who choose to link their Peloton account through the Muse app can work with their personal Muse agent to explore training recommendations, learn more about specific classes, and add classes to their schedule for later.

It is important to note that this is a partnership, not a Peloton feature. Nothing changes for Members who don’t use Muse, and no one will find themselves using this feature just by logging into their Peloton account. Linking the two has to happen from inside Muse, and it can be undone at any time.

What Muse Is

For Members unfamiliar with it, Muse is Meta’s new personal AI agent, built to work across daily tasks rather than answer one question at a time. According to Meta, Muse gets to know a person and their goals, works across different areas of life, and includes privacy and security controls that keep the user in charge of what it can access. It runs on what Meta calls a Muse Secure VM, a dedicated virtual machine with its own browser for navigating the web on the user’s behalf.

Unlike a standard chatbot, Muse can take multi-step action. Given a goal, it builds a plan, tracks progress, and can keep working in the background after the app is closed. Meta describes tasks like booking appointments, filling out forms, and handling customer service as within its scope. Muse is free with a usage limit, with paid tiers available for people who want more.

How the Peloton Muse Partnership Works

Members interested in trying it will need to connect the two accounts from the Muse side:

  1. Download and open Muse from Meta app on iOS or Android.
  2. Go to Profile or Device Settings and find the Connectors section.
  3. Select Peloton from the list of supported health applications.
  4. Log into the Peloton account and grant Muse permission to view workout history and profile metrics.

Once linked, Members can talk to Muse through the app or through WhatsApp using natural language. Meta’s own examples include asking Muse to build a yearlong exercise plan based on past Peloton performance, to schedule classes around a connected Google Calendar and Gmail, or to track fitness milestones and flag when progress falls behind a stated goal.

Part of a Broader AI Push

The Peloton Muse partnership follows Peloton’s integration with OpenAI earlier this year, continuing a pattern of meeting Members where they already spend time rather than requiring them to open the Peloton app first. Both partnerships work the same way: the AI tool reaches out to Peloton’s content, not the other way around.

Meta positions Muse’s health and fitness use broadly, framing it as a tool for keeping track of patterns over time and preparing for appointments, while stating plainly that it does not provide medical advice. For fitness specifically, that translates to background tracking and scheduling help rather than coaching.

Muse, and by extension the Peloton Muse partnership, is currently available only in the United States for users 18 and older. Members can decide for themselves whether the two accounts get linked, and can disconnect at any time through Muse’s connector settings.
