TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (3/11/2024)

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

  1. 6/16/23 20 min 2000s Pilates with Kristin McGee
  2. 11/26/23 45 min Intervals Run with Mariana Fernández
  3. 2/25/24 (or 26 in PT) 10 min Afrobeats Full Body Stretch with Adrian Williams
  4. 3/4/24 45 min Power Zone Endurance 80s Ride with Sam Yo
  5. 3/10/24 30 min Full Body Strength with Logan Aldridge

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite, but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Peloton Pilates

6/16/23 20 min 2000s Pilates with Kristin McGee

Kari Kopidlansky Gormley is highlighting a Pilates class we might have missed. It’s a delightful walk down the 2000s memory lane with hits from the likes of Beyoncé, Maroon 5, and John Mayer.

Kari said, “I LOVE all of Kristin McGee’s Pilates Classes. Kristin is so good at cueing and pushes you without even realizing it. The class had a great playlist, and I felt empowered after taking the class.”

2. Favorite Peloton Run

11/26/23 45 min Intervals Run with Mariana Fernández

Rich Glass (jerseyrich) is in his comeback era and we love it!

He shared, “I am recovering and slowly and steadily building back. I have been trying to prep for my first ever 5k, not a big deal to experienced runners but after some medical issues in ’23 this is a big deal to me. I have found Mariana Fernandez on the tread and she is a great instructor.”

We love hearing about all the ways Peloton meets Members where they are. Thank you, Rich, for sharing your story with us this week, and cheers to your continued recovery and success in your first 5k!

3. Favorite Peloton Stretch

2/25/24 (or 26 in PT) 10 min Afrobeats Full Body Stretch with Adrian Williams

Helper Bee Nikki Sherouse-Smith knows the value of a good stretch! She’s sharing a new gem from Adrian this week.

“Adrian’s 10 minute Afrobeats Full Body Stretch from 2/26/24 is heavenly.  The music is mellow and relaxing, just like Adrian’s voice, and he coaches you through a series of gentle stretches with long holds. By the end of the class, you’ll feel stretched out and totally relaxed.”

Add this stack to your class (and then maybe add it again!) for the perfect end to your workout, or your day.

4. Favorite Peloton Ride

3/4/24 45 min Power Zone Endurance 80s Ride with Sam Yo

Sonya Norman‘s favorite Ride this week was part of a signature series of Sam’s, known as his Video Store Rides. She shared: “Sam’s 45 Power Zone Endurance 80’s ride from 3/6/24.  It was a power zone edition of his video store series, where the playlist is all songs from 80’s movies. The ride was hard for a power zone endurance ride, with two long 12 and 14 minute zone 3 intervals. Sam is so good at programming the music and his commentary to flow with the workout that he’s able to keep you fully engaged even in the long intervals. Highly recommend his other video store rides as well!!”

Sonya was even kind enough to share the list of Sam’s other Video Store Rides, since you can’t find them by searching Video Store! She said, The video store rides are his 80’s rides from 7/31/21, 11/13/21, 6/21/22, and 11/12/23.”

5. Favorite Unstackable Peloton Strength

3/10/24 30 min Full Body Strength with Logan Aldridge

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

For this week’s Unstackable recommendation, we heard from Sarah Bell Combes:

“I took Logan’s 30min Full Body class live yesterday (3/10) There was a 10 min AMRAP ascending ladder of 1 burpee and 1 single arm snatch R/L, then 2 of each, then 3, and up for 10 MIN! Brutal. Unstackable, or a fave, I’m not still not sure! There was a 6min EMOM with reverse lunges and squats to start, not bad, then a 5 min EMOM to finish with neutral grip chest press in a hip bridge with single leg v-ups, and the last min was 30s each. 30s of the chest press and 30s of the single leg v-ups. Definitely a burn of a finish.”

This class sounds killer! Definitely worthy of the hashtag #deathbylogan!

Thank you!
