Peloton Launches Robin’s Yellow Challenge Starting May 18
Peloton Launches Robin’s Yellow Challenge: 8 Classes, 4 Weeks, 1 Badge Worth Earning
The new All In challenge turns one of Robin Arzón’s most recognizable class signals into a structured, badge-backed commitment.

Peloton has announced Robin’s Yellow Challenge, a four-week flash challenge that gives the “Robin wears yellow” signal its first official home in the challenge system. Running from May 18 through June 14, 2026, the challenge asks members to complete eight high-intensity rides and/or runs with Robin Arzón — two per week across four weeks — and earn a badge for finishing. You can opt in now through the Challenges tab in the app.

What Robin’s Yellow Challenge Requires
The challenge tracks high-intensity rides and runs with Robin. The structure is straightforward: two qualifying classes per week for four weeks, for a total of eight classes. Members who complete all eight earn a badge.
Three tiers are available — Bronze, Silver, and Gold — based on the number of qualifying classes completed during the challenge window. Full completion of Robin’s Yellow Challenge at the Gold level requires all eight classes.
One thing worth noting: this challenge does not include an Iron tier, despite Peloton recently announcing that new entry-level badge option for the monthly activity challenge. If you missed that update, our coverage of the new Iron tier has the full breakdown.

What It Means When Robin Wears Yellow
For members who have spent time with Robin Arzón on the platform, the yellow signal is not new. When Robin shows up in yellow, the expectation is set before the warm-up begins: this class is going to be hard. Did you already know the yellow rule?
Peloton’s official challenge description puts it plainly: “When Robin wears yellow, it’s going to be a challenging workout.” The challenge formalizes that community-held knowledge into this structured four-week program.
Robin’s Yellow Challenge Has the Feel of a Member-Built Series
There is something worth appreciating about how Robin’s Yellow Challenge is structured. Unlike broader platform challenges tied to ongoing activity, special events, seasonal programming or the launch of a new class type, this one is built entirely around a specific instructor behavior — a signal that the community has recognized and talked about for years. That is exactly the kind of structure that Peloton member groups build on their own: pick an instructor, identify a class type, set a target, hold each other accountable.
We explored that community-challenge dynamic in depth in our piece on how to maximize your Peloton membership through challenges — worth reading if you want context for how member-led accountability structures have shaped the platform’s culture.
Robin herself has leaned into this kind of community-forward programming before. Her Unofficial Strength Split, which we covered in April, follows a similar logic: use an instructor’s existing class identity to build something structured and repeatable that members can commit to together.
How to Join Robin’s Yellow Challenge
Open the Peloton app and navigate to Community, then Challenges. Robin’s Yellow Challenge is available to opt into now, with the challenge window opening May 18.
Classes that count toward Robin’s Yellow Challenge are high-intensity rides and runs with Robin. The app will track your progress automatically once you have opted in.
