Peloton Workout Generator Now Builds Custom Circuits

Last Updated: June 24, 2026By Tags: , ,

Members on Cross Training Series equipment can now create and edit strength circuits from scratch, choosing muscle groups, sets, and reps.

The Peloton Workout Generator just got more flexible. In Peloton’s monthly round up of “what’s new” on June 24th that Members using Cross Training+ Series equipment can now build fully custom circuits, editing sets, reps, and individual movements as they go. Peloton also sent out a feature overview via email to members.

Peloton’s in-app “Forward Motion” feature guide is highlighting the update this month, drawing fresh attention to a tool that now gives members more control over their strength sessions.

How the Peloton Workout Generator Works

The updated Peloton Workout Generator starts by asking members to pick a target area: Upper body, Lower body, Core, Push, Pull, Full body, or Custom muscles. From there, the tool builds a workout organized into blocks, with exercises laid out by sets and reps, such as Jumping Jacks 3×10, Dumbbell Swing 3×10, or Push Up 2×5.

Members aren’t locked into the generated plan. Tapping into any movement opens a scroll wheel to adjust the rep count on the spot. Peloton’s tagline for the feature, “Build it. Edit. Sweat it,” points to that same idea: this is meant to function as a real workout-building tool, not just a fixed template.

Which Equipment Supports It

The Peloton Workout Generator’s custom circuit option is only available on Cross Training Series equipment: Bike+, Tread+, and Row+.  Members using the standard Bike or Tread (or non Cross-Training Tread+) will NOT see this feature.

For members who’ve wanted more say in how their strength workouts come together, the update gives Cross Training Series owners a reason to open the Workout Generator and see what’s changed.

Other Monthly Features
