Peloton Strength for Soccer: 2 Perfect Programs for World Cup Season

2 Peloton Strength for Soccer Programs Worth Trying Right Now

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is running through July 19, and if the matches have you fired up about soccer, Peloton has a ready-made answer. Peloton Strength for Soccer is a sport-specific training program available in two versions: one in English led by Erik Jäger and one in German led by Marcel Maurer. Both have been on the platform since August 2024, but with the world’s biggest soccer tournament happening right now across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, there has never been a better moment to pull them up.

What Is Peloton Strength for Soccer?

Peloton Strength for Soccer is a one-week soccer workout program built around what the sport actually demands from the body. Each program runs seven classes over seven days, with sessions ranging from 5 to 30 minutes. The training covers strength, agility, mobility, stability, and recovery: everything a soccer player needs to perform well and stay healthy on the pitch.

Both programs live in the Programs section of the Peloton app. Individual classes from each program are also available as standalones under the Classes tab, so members can drop into a single session without committing to the full week. As The Clip Out reported when the programs originally dropped, Erik’s classes are filed under Strength while at least one class in his program appears under Stretch, so it is worth knowing where to look.

Erik Jäger’s Peloton Strength for Soccer (English)

Erik Jäger’s version of this soccer workout program is delivered in English and targets full-body strength, agility, and mobility with built-in recovery time. The week intentionally repeats key movement patterns, giving members get two rounds each of full-body strength, agility, and mobility work, reinforcing the skills most relevant to performance on the pitch.

  • Day 1: 5 min Introduction + 30 min Full Body Strength for Soccer
  • Day 2: 15 min Full Body Mobility for Soccer
  • Day 3: 20 min Agility for Soccer
  • Day 4: Recovery
  • Day 5: 30 min Full Body Strength for Soccer
  • Day 6: 15 min Full Body Mobility for Soccer
  • Day 7: 20 min Agility for Soccer

Marcel Maurer’s Peloton Strength for Soccer (German)

Marcel Maurer’s program is delivered in German and approaches the soccer workout program from a slightly different angle, leaning into stability and athletic conditioning alongside structured recovery days. Day 1 packs three sessions back to back, and Day 4 follows the same pattern with a training class paired with recovery work.

  • Day 1: 5 min Introduction + 15 min Warm Up for Soccer + 30 min Stability Workout for Soccer
  • Day 2: 15 min Recovery Foam Rolling for Soccer
  • Day 3: Recovery
  • Day 4: 30 min Athletic Workout for Soccer + 15 min Recovery Stretch for Soccer
  • Day 5: Recovery
  • Day 6: 20 min Pre-Injury Mobility for Soccer
  • Day 7: Recovery

The structure builds around two major training days separated by foam rolling and passive recovery, with the Pre-Injury Mobility class on Day 6 reflecting the program’s stated focus on keeping players healthy and on the field. Peloton has been steadily expanding its multilingual program library.
