Peloton Strength Class: Sofi Tukker Drops May 26
Rebecca Kennedy and DJ John Michael joined the electronic duo for a live event tied to Spotify’s fitness initiative.
Peloton and Spotify have teamed up with electronic music duo Sofi Tukker for a 20-minute Peloton strength class taught by instructor Rebecca Kennedy, available May 26 on both the Peloton platform and Spotify.

The class is part of Spotify’s “This Is Fitness” initiative, and it brings together recognizable names from both the music world and the Peloton community. DJ John Michael handled the music at a live launch event where Kennedy led the workout and Sofi Tukker made a surprise appearance on stage.
What Happened at the Live Event
The collaboration debuted at a live Spotify fitness event. Rebecca Kennedy took the stage in her signature style, leading attendees through the strength workout while DJ John Michael provided the soundtrack. Midway through, Sofi Tukker joined Kennedy on stage, turning the workout into something closer to a concert experience.

Kennedy was not the only Peloton presence in the room. Instructors Andy Speer, Jess King, Christine D’Ercole, Sam Yo, Greta Dopp, Ash Pryor, Denis Morton, and Mariana Fernandez were spotted in the audience, making the event a notable gathering of the Peloton instructor community alongside the Spotify partnership announcement.

Images from the event show Kennedy in a yellow Peloton kit squatting and coaching the room, with Sofi Tukker joining her for a high-five moment that capped the session. The energy in the room reflected the pairing well: Kennedy’s coaching intensity matched with Sofi Tukker’s upbeat, dance-forward sound.

About the Peloton Strength Class With Sofi Tukker
The Peloton strength class is 20 minutes long and will be available in the Peloton library beginning May 26. It will also be accessible on Spotify as part of the platform’s fitness content push. That dual availability makes this collaboration notable: members can access it through their usual Peloton experience, while Spotify users who have not explored Peloton content will have a direct entry point.
Rebecca Kennedy is one of Peloton’s most recognized strength instructors. Her classes are known for clear coaching cues, strong pacing, and a workout structure that challenges members without sacrificing form. Pairing her with Sofi Tukker Peloton content is a logical fit given how well the duo’s driving beats align with the rhythm and intensity that strength training demands.

Who Is Sofi Tukker?
Sofi Tukker is an American electronic music duo made up of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern. They are known for blending house, pop, and world music into tracks built around upbeat melodies and driving rhythms. Their music has appeared in major ad campaigns and has built a global fanbase drawn to the duo’s distinct, joyful sound.
For a Peloton strength class, the sonic fit is real. Strength training benefits from music with a consistent tempo and forward momentum, and Sofi Tukker’s style delivers both. The collaboration is not just a branding exercise. The music genuinely suits the format.
Sofi Tukker and Peloton: A History Worth Knowing
This is not the first time Sofi Tukker Peloton content has landed in the library. On August 19, 2022, Peloton’s All For One event featured a full slate of Sofi Tukker-themed classes spanning multiple modalities. Strength classes with Logan Aldridge, running classes with Matty Maggiacomo and Olivia Amato, and cycling classes with Jess King and Erik Jäger were all part of that rollout. Members who want to revisit that content can find those classes in the on-demand library.
The May 26 Peloton strength class builds on that existing relationship. Sofi Tukker is not a new name to Peloton members, and the community response to the 2022 All For One event demonstrated that the pairing resonates across modalities. A new Peloton strength class with this level of production behind it is a natural next step for both sides.
DJ John Michael’s Role
DJ John Michael served as the DJ for the live event, curating the soundtrack that supported Kennedy’s instruction and set the tone for Sofi Tukker’s appearance. His work on a Peloton strength class like this one carries real weight: the right music selection affects pacing, intensity, and how members connect to the movement. Members who follow his work know he brings the same intentionality to live settings that he applies to in-app playlists.
Available May 26 on Peloton and Spotify
The Sofi Tukker Peloton strength class launches May 26. Look for it in the strength section of the Peloton library. The class is part of a much larger rollout: Peloton launched a global Peloton Spotify partnership on April 27, 2026, placing more than 1,400 classes inside Spotify’s new fitness category for Premium subscribers. That library spans Strength, Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Stretching, Meditation, Floor Cardio, and Outdoor content, with Peloton serving as the launch partner for the entire category. Peloton also confirmed the deal in an official press release.
For Peloton members who regularly train with Kennedy, this is a straightforward addition to the schedule. For anyone newer to her classes or curious about what a music-forward Peloton strength class looks like, May 26 is a reasonable place to start.
