Peloton Partners with Generali Berlin Half Marathon

Exciting news just dropped on Peloton’s Instagram page today! Guess what? Peloton has teamed up as an official partner with the Generali Berlin Half Marathon, and it’s all going down on April 7, 2024. Now, here’s the catch: the registration is already packed to the brim (aka, it’s sold out). But don’t sweat it – Peloton is giving you a golden ticket, a chance to snag a free entry to this much-anticipated race. Yes, you heard that right! Just click here to throw your hat in the ring for a free race entry.

Elite Athletes Expected to Compete and Potentially Break Course Record

And here’s where it gets even more thrilling – some of the world’s elite athletes are lacing up to potentially smash the course record. In the men’s corner, we’ve got Kenyan stars, Matthew Kimeli and Daniel Ebenyo topping the field. Kimeli’s personal best of 58:43 is just one second shy of the course record.

Meanwhile, on the women’s side, Melat Kejeta stands out as the favorite. The Ethiopian-born Kejeta arrived in Germany as a refugee in 2013 and gained German citizenship in 2019. Her personal best half-marathon time of 65:18 is just 16 seconds over the current course record.

Some of Your Favorite Instructors in the Race

But wait, there’s more!  A squad of Peloton instructors is gearing up to join the fray. Irene Kaymer, Erik Jager, Tobias Heinze, and Jeffery McEachern are scheduled to hit the streets of Berlin as well. We’ll keep you posted if additional instructors sign up!

Peloton Continues to Expand its Partnerships

Although Peloton is now partnered with the New York Road Runners, this is the first time we are aware that Peloton has partnered with a major running event. We’re definitely interested to see if this trend continues.

Stay tuned, folks. The countdown to the Generali Berlin Half Marathon is on, and we’ll keep you posted if any other Peloton instructors join the race.  Don’t forget to click here for your shot at a free entry. We hope to see you at the starting line!
