Last Updated: October 20, 2026By Tags: , ,

Peloton Studios shared the news on Instagram on October 20, 2026, in a video with instructors Ally Love and Matty Maggiacomo, who said Peloton is thrilled to relaunch the awards. The return follows Peloton’s Member Gratitude Season announcement, which teased awards alongside in-person events. Peloton frames this round as a celebration of every high five, tag, meet-up, and in-studio class that brings members together.

All 6 Peloton Community Awards Categories

The Peloton Leaderboard Awards cover both online and in-person contributions. Here is what each of the Peloton community awards recognizes, based on the category descriptions Peloton shared.

• Community Superstar: A member who has built, grown, or nurtured a specific sub-community within the Peloton family. Peloton asks for a concrete example of how they brought people together.

• Champ of the Comeback: A member who overcame a significant obstacle, setback, or hiatus and returned to the Leaderboard to inspire others.

• The Community Motivator: A member who consistently pushes others to show up and be their best selves.

• Social Media Star: A member who uses their digital platforms to spread Peloton’s core values of inclusivity and hustle, bringing positive energy to online spaces.

• PSNY Cheerleader: A member who elevates the vibe at Peloton Studios New York for both the instructors and fellow members in the room.

• PSL Cheerleader: A member who embodies the spirit of Peloton Studios London and makes every in-person class they attend a great experience for everyone involved.

How Peloton Scores Each Nomination

Every Peloton Leaderboard Awards nomination is scored against a five-part rubric worth up to 100 points.

• Category Alignment (15 points): Whether the story clearly answers the prompt for the chosen category.

• Community Impact (20 points): The ripple effect, including whether the nominee’s actions changed someone’s day, health, or sense of belonging.

• Emotional Resonance (25 points): How authentic, vulnerable, or inspirational the story is.

• Club Peloton Tier (5 to 25 points): Bronze earns 5, Silver 10, Gold 15, Champion 20, and Legend 25. This measures presence in live classes, swarms, high fives, and the wider Club Peloton tiers ecosystem.

• Brand Representation (15 points): Whether the nominee naturally reflects Peloton values such as Together We Go Far, inclusivity, and resilience.

Emotional resonance and Club Peloton tier carry the most weight at 25 points each. A Legend member starts with a 20-point edge over a Bronze member, but a Bronze nominee with a strong, well-told story can still earn up to 80 points. For the Peloton community awards, the writing matters as much as the activity behind it.

Peloton Leaderboard Awards Reach Well Beyond the Studio

Four of the six categories are open to members wherever they train, whether that means a Tread run, a Row class, Strength, Yoga, or Pilates on the app, or leading a group from home. The two Cheerleader categories focus on members who regularly take in-person classes at PSNY in New York or PSL in London.

The regional windows also make the global scope clear. With members in six countries invited to take part, the Peloton community awards reflect a member base that stretches across North America, Europe, and Australia, and connects through Peloton community features well beyond any single studio.

A Look Back at the Leaderboard Awards Format

The Peloton Leaderboard Awards have appeared before. During Peloton On Tour in 2023, a community celebration that visited five cities across three countries, members could nominate themselves or a fellow member for a Community Leaderboard Award at local stops including Atlanta and Chicago. Members who want a refresher on the rankings behind the name can read how the Peloton Leaderboard works.

For anyone who has been pulled through a tough week by a teammate’s encouragement, a group leader’s check-in, or a familiar face in the studio, the Peloton Leaderboard Awards offer a simple way to say thanks. US and Canada nominations close October 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET, and winners will be named in November.
