Peloton July Artist Series: 2 Epic Headliners
Peloton July Artist Series Overview: Bon Jovi and Ne-Yo
Rock anthems and R&B hits arrive this July! Here are the bookable classes and what you need to know about each artist.
The Peloton July Artist Series brings two artists to live classes this month with a sharp contrast between them. Bon Jovi opens on July 9 with arena rock built for sustained effort, and Ne-Yo closes the month across two days of classes on July 23 and 24, offering a catalog that moves from uptempo R&B to mid-tempo groove depending on the format.
Bon Jovi: July 9
The July Artist Series opens with Bon Jovi on Thursday, July 9, with two confirmed live classes.
- Emma Lovewell leads a 30-minute Bon Jovi Ride at 7:00 PM ET
- Andy Speer teaches a 30-minute Bon Jovi Run at 7:00 PM ET
On Demand classes will be announced closer to July 9.
Who Is Bon Jovi?
Bon Jovi is an American rock band formed by frontman Jon Bon Jovi in Sayreville, New Jersey, in 1983. Over a career now spanning more than 40 years, the band has sold more than 130 million records worldwide and performed for more than 34 million fans across 50 countries. Their 1986 album Slippery When Wet spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and produced two chart-topping singles: “You Give Love a Bad Name” and “Livin’ on a Prayer.”
Their most recent studio album, Forever, was released on June 7, 2024. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, and in October 2025 announced a return to touring in 2026, marking their first dates since Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal surgery in 2022. The Forever Tour kicks off at Madison Square Garden in New York City in July 2026, followed by stops in Edinburgh, Dublin, and London.

Bon Jovi on the Peloton Platform
Bon Jovi is not new to Peloton, and their catalog is deeply embedded in the library. Peloton currently offers 817 classes featuring Bon Jovi’s music and an additional 22 classes featuring Jon Bon Jovi as a solo artist, for a combined total of 839 classes across the platform.

Peloton held its first Bon Jovi Artist Series in October and November 2020, generating a multi-format set of live classes that included:
- 30-min Bon Jovi Ride with Irène Kaymer (German) — Tue 10/27/20
- 30-min Bon Jovi Ride with Sam Yo — Thu 10/29/20
- 45-min Bon Jovi Ride with Kendall Toole — Sun 11/1/20
- 30-min Bon Jovi Yoga Flow with Kristin McGee — Mon 11/2/20
- 30-min Bon Jovi Run with Matt Wilpers — Mon 11/2/20
The 2020 series was widely praised in the Peloton community. Crystal noted in The Clip Out’s episode recap at the time that Kendall Toole’s Bon Jovi ride was particularly memorable, citing the personal significance the music held for many members. Sam Yo’s Bon Jovi ride also became a recurring community favorite, with listeners singling it out alongside his AC/DC ride as one of his best Artist Series classes.
For the 2026 series, the format is leaner to start but we expect the On Demand to fill the void — two classes confirmed on July 9 with Emma Lovewell on the Bike and Andy Speer on the Tread. The catalog gives both instructors a wide dynamic range to work with. Anthem-driven tracks like “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “You Give Love a Bad Name,” and “It’s My Life” are well suited to interval efforts and high-cadence pushes, while ballads including “Always” and “Bed of Roses” offer natural recovery windows within both formats.
I mean, if you’ve ever taken a TS60 with Andy, you know his class will rock the arena. Full stop. Windows down, radio blasting… we’ve all been there!
The timing of the July 9 series is worth noting: it falls just days before Bon Jovi’s Madison Square Garden Forever Tour opener, making this one of a strategically timed crossover moment.
Ne-Yo: July 23 and 24
The Ne-Yo portion of the July Artist Series spans two consecutive days, with three confirmed live classes.
Thursday, July 23:
- Denis Morton leads a 30-minute Ne-Yo Yoga Flow at 5:30 PM ET
- Alex Toussaint teaches a 30-minute Ne-Yo Ride at 7:00 PM ET
Friday, July 24:
- Hannah Frankson leads a 30-minute Ne-Yo Run at 7:30 PM ET
On Demand classes will be announced closer to July 23.

Who Is Ne-Yo?
Ne-Yo is the stage name of Shaffer Chimere Smith, an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor born October 18, 1979. He built his early career as a songwriter, co-writing Mario’s 2004 hit “Let Me Love You” before landing a Def Jam Recordings deal that launched him as a performer. His 2005 single “So Sick” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and his debut album In My Own Words (2006) debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. His second album, Because of You (2007), won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album.
A prolific writer, he has penned hits for Beyonce, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, and Usher, among others. He is currently on the Nights Like This tour with Akon, which launched in April 2026. Coincidentally, he will be performing in the NY/NJ area on July 19.
Ne-Yo on the Peloton Platform
Unlike Bon Jovi, Ne-Yo has not previously had a dedicated Artist Series. July 2026 will be his first. That said, his catalog is already well established on the platform: Ne-Yo music currently appears in 812 classes across cycling, running, strength, yoga, and other modalities, making him one of the more prevalent R&B artists in the Peloton library.
His music works across a range of formats and tempos. Uptempo tracks like “Closer,” “Miss Independent,” and “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)” translate well to steady-state cycling and interval running, while mid-tempo tracks from his Grammy-winning catalog offer more groove-driven pacing for yoga flows and strength classes.
Denis Morton’s yoga flow pairing with Ne-Yo’s music is a natural fit given the artist’s tendency toward melodic, layered production that supports sustained movement without demanding sprint-level output. Expect to learn a little music history too, kids.
The three-class spread across two days — yoga on Thursday evening, then a ride and a run bookending Thursday-Friday — gives members flexibility to take all three or sample by format.
