Peloton Commercial Series Launches, Orders Now Open
Orders are officially open for the Peloton Commercial Series, the company’s first bike and treadmill built specifically for gyms, hotels, and other high-traffic fitness facilities. Peloton confirmed the news in a blog post Monday, publishing full hardware specifications for the Commercial Bike and Commercial Tread for the first time since the line was announced in March.
The launch caps a rollout that started long before today. Peloton first unveiled the Commercial Series in March 2026, showed early hardware at FIBO Cologne the following month, and confirmed a fall launch window on its Q4 FY2026 earnings call in August, when CEO Peter Stern told analysts pricing had been finalized even though it had not yet been made public. With orders now open, that timeline has reached its intended endpoint.
What’s New in the Peloton Commercial Series
Both machines are built on a commercial-grade platform designed to withstand heavy, continuous use rather than the wear pattern of a single household. Facilities get connected fleet insights and Peloton support to help with maintenance, while exercisers can start a workout by logging into an existing Peloton account, creating a free facility account, or using Guest Mode for a limited set of login-free classes. Peloton says live and on-demand content, Scenic rides and runs, and entertainment options will be added on an ongoing basis to keep the equipment relevant for repeat visitors.

How Operators Get Started
Peloton is directing interested gym owners and facility operators to their Peloton Commercial Business sales representative to work out the right equipment mix for their space. Consumer pricing was not included in Monday’s announcement, and Peloton has not published a public price list for the Commercial Series, a notable omission given that Stern told investors in August the numbers had already been finalized internally. That gap leaves the cost question open for now, even as the hardware itself becomes available to order.
The bigger story is what this launch represents for Peloton’s business overall. The Commercial Series moves the company beyond the hospitality and residential placements it has served through its Pro Series and into full commercial gym floors, a market Peloton has been building toward since folding Precor into its Commercial Business Unit. For members, it means more places to find Peloton equipment outside the home. For the company, it’s a bet that the instructor-led format that built its at-home audience can hold up in a gym setting where members are choosing equipment on the spot, not committing to it in their living room.
Peloton Also Refreshed Its Home Treadmill Lineup Today
The Commercial Series wasn’t the only hardware news out of Peloton today. The company also announced an expanded Peloton Tread lineup for home users, adding three new models: Tread Flex, Tread Vision, and Tread+ Vision, each running on Peloton IQ, the company’s AI coaching platform. The refresh includes Peloton’s first folding treadmill at a $2,195 entry price and a movement-tracking camera on the higher-end models. Full details on pricing, availability, and the new AI coaching features are available in The Clip Out’s complete breakdown of the Peloton Tread lineup.
The two announcements land on the same day but serve different audiences. The Commercial Series is built for gym operators outfitting a facility floor, while the Tread lineup targets members training at home. Whether the timing was coordinated or coincidental, it gives Peloton two hardware stories to tell in the same week.
