Mel C Peloton Classes Arrive May 11-12 in Surprise Drop
Peloton Drops Mel C Classes Featuring New Album Sweat
A Pop Ride and a Full Body Strength session are both landing this week, featuring music from her new album.

Mel C Peloton classes are officially on the schedule, and the announcement landed with very little warning. On May 9, the official Peloton Studios Instagram Stories shared a class schedule and promotional image under the banner “Sweat with Melanie C,” confirming two classes arriving this week built around music from her new album of the same name.
The timing is interesting. According to her own IG, Mel C spent her Saturday running a community run club event in London, posting photos and videos to her Stories from Hyde Park and Notting Hill. Her caption read: “TEAM SPORTY!! Run club today was so much fun. Thanks to everyone who came and got their sweat on.” She also noted that the Official Charts account interviewed her mid-run, calling it “a first for me AND @officialcharts.” The Peloton announcement dropped the same day.

What Mel C Peloton Classes Are Landing This Week
Two classes are confirmed. The first is a 30-minute Pop Ride with instructor Hannah F., going live Monday, May 11 at 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. The second is a 20-minute Full Body Strength session led by Erik (DE), premiering Tuesday, May 12 at 4:30 PM BST / 5:30 PM CEST. That is two disciplines and two instructors across two consecutive days, with timing that serves both US and European members.
About the Album
Sweat is Melanie C’s ninth solo studio album. The title track leans into fitness-adjacent themes, with lyrics built around movement, energy, and effort. Peloton’s decision to frame the programming directly around the album title is a natural fit, and the “Sweat with Melanie C” branding suggests this was a coordinated release rather than a last-minute scheduling addition.
Melanie C is not appearing in person at Peloton Studios. These classes feature her music, not a guest appearance. Hannah F. and Erik (DE) are leading the sessions respectively.
Mel C is not a new name in the Peloton community. She was previously spotted working out at Peloton Studios New York, a detail The Clip Out noted in an earlier episode. This week formalizes what has been a developing relationship between the artist and the platform.

Could DJ John Michael’s Approved Remix Be Connected?
One interesting adjacent happening has to do with John Michael. On May 6, Peloton’s in-house DJ posted to his Instagram Stories: “The artist I submitted a remix for approved it. Whew. I’m a little shook.” He did not name the artist.
This landed four days before the Mel C Peloton classes announcement, and the timing is worth noting. DJ John Michael regularly produces custom mixes for Peloton programming, and a remix tied to a high-profile new album release would be consistent with how the platform has approached similar music partnerships.
Nothing in the available source material confirms the connection, and no further details have been shared publicly, but it is worth watching in these upcoming classes. There could be lots of great partnerships ahead for John Michael, but this one is certainly curious.
