Katie’s 4-Day Intermediate Split Debuts on Peloton

Katie’s 4-Day Intermediate Split Is Now Live on Peloton

Wang unveiled her first official split program live during her Glutes and Legs class on September 4, capping a summer of strength milestones.

Katie’s 4-Day Intermediate Split is officially available on Peloton, giving members a structured strength program to follow across a full week rather than picking classes at random. Wang made the announcement live during her Glutes and Legs class on Friday, September 4, after several days of teasing the news to her followers.

The program now sits in the Programs tab, organized around four 45 minute strength classes spread across a seven day cycle, with recovery days built in between. In Wang’s words, the goal is straightforward: “Four days, four focused workouts.” She has framed the split as a way to target different muscle groups on different days so members build strength through consistency rather than guesswork.

The full weekly schedule breaks down as follows.

  • Day 1: 45 minute Chest and Triceps
  • Day 2: 45 minute Legs and Core
  • Day 3: Recovery
  • Day 4: 45 minute Back and Biceps
  • Day 5: 45 minute Legs and Shoulders
  • Day 6: Recovery
  • Day 7: Recovery

Each class calls for a workout mat, medium dumbbells, and heavy dumbbells, keeping the equipment list accessible for members training at home. The format mirrors the split training structure other Peloton instructors have built out over the past year, dividing muscle groups across separate sessions so each area gets full attention and enough recovery time before it’s trained again.

Built on a Season of Momentum

Katie’s 4-Day Intermediate Split does not arrive out of nowhere. It caps a summer in which Wang steadily expanded her footprint on the strength side of the platform. In July, she debuted Katie’s Power Pyramid, a signature series built around the pyramid-style programming she calls “TACOCAT,” climbing through a progression of movements before working back down in reverse. The kickoff class introduced a format members could expect to see reused and refined in future releases.

Weeks later, Wang filmed Peloton’s first scenic strength class along the French Riviera, part of a five class scenic series shot on France’s Mediterranean coast. Rowing has been Wang’s foundation since she joined the instructor roster, but this stretch of releases, Power Pyramid, French Riviera Full Body Strength, and now Katie’s 4-Day Intermediate Split, points to a clear trajectory toward becoming one of Peloton’s more active strength programmers.

What Members Can Expect

Wang’s approach favors approachable, repeatable programming over intensity for its own sake. That framing lines up with broader guidance from strength coaches, who point to split training as an effective way to build muscle by giving each area proper recovery between sessions.

For members who have followed Wang from the Row to the strength mat, Katie’s 4-Day Intermediate Split is the clearest sign yet that her programming is getting more structured, not less. Whatever comes next, another signature series or a new destination for scenic content, the throughline is consistency first, results second.
