Members do not need to speak Spanish to join. Subtitles make it easy to follow along with the Juanes Walk, so you can enjoy the music and the conversation between Juanes and Mariana at your own pace. The Juanes Walk also joins a busy month of Peloton Hispanic Heritage Month classes, including Mariana’s 45 min Rock en Español Run. Members who want more from her can find her Tread, yoga, and meditation classes on Peloton’s instructor page.

For members who have followed Juanes for decades or are just finding his music, this Mariana Fernández Juanes class offers something the rest of the series does not: the artist himself, on the Tread, sharing the story behind 25 years of songs. That makes the Juanes Walk the standout of this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month programming.

The Juanes Walk is now on demand, putting the Colombian rock icon on a Peloton Tread beside instructor Mariana Fernández. The 30-minute Spanish-language class released Thursday, September 24, as part of the Juanes Artist Series, and it celebrates 25 years of his solo career with music, honest conversation, and a studio full of energy.

Inside the Juanes Walk With Mariana Fernández

Juanes and Mariana walked side by side, wearing matching black shirts printed with a line from his hit "La Camisa Negra." Members filled the studio behind them, and behind-the-scenes footage shows the room clapping along throughout the class.

Mariana shared on Instagram that the team recorded the Juanes Walk about a month before its release. By the final minutes, the two were trading hugs on the Tread while people around the set cheered them on.

This Mariana Fernández Juanes class plays out like a conversation between friends, with the music setting the pace and the stories filling the space in between.

Celebrating 25 Years as a Solo Artist

Mariana framed the class around a milestone. Early on, she told Juanes he had arrived after a 25-year trajectory as a solo artist. His solo career began in 2000 with the album Fíjate Bien, following his years fronting the Colombian rock band Ekhymosis.

In her Instagram post, Mariana described Juanes as the soundtrack of "our chapters" and said Peloton honored the milestone through music and movement. She thanked him for his artistry, his vulnerability, and his heart, and invited members to join the Juanes Walk on demand.

Juanes on Walking Through the Hard Parts

The conversation turned personal as the class moved along. Juanes talked about the moments when the gray clouds arrive, and compared getting through them to walking a few dark blocks to reach the light.

He described facing those moments head-on, embracing the fear and the pain, and accepting both as part of life. "You know you'll arrive, and the only way is to make the choice and go through it," he told members.

A walk class leaves space to listen, and the Juanes Walk used that space well, pairing steady movement with a message about pushing through.

A Spanish Round of This or That

Not every moment was serious. Mariana also led Juanes through a round of this or that in Spanish, including a very Colombian choice: bandeja paisa or sancocho? The playful exchange kept things light between the bigger conversations, and members will have to take the Juanes Walk to hear his answers.

How to Take the Juanes Walk

The Juanes Walk is available now in Peloton's on-demand library. It is one of three classes in the Juanes Artist Series released on September 24, alongside a 30 min Juanes Upper Body Strength class with Robin Arzón and Camila Ramón's Spanish-language ride. The full lineup is covered in our September Artist Series overview.
