The TCS New York City Marathon takes place on Sunday, November 5, and Peloton’s Susie Chan will be running in it for the third time! Becs Gentry will be at the finish line as a reporter on the WABC/ESPN live broadcast, as we had previously reported on our blog.
See Susie And Becs Before the Race
However, before the race, Susie and Becs will appear on the Citizens Stage at the TCS NYC Marathon expo at 11am. According to an Instagram post, Susie and Becs will share their experience as marathon runners, provide race day tips, and discuss how the Peloton App can be incorporated into marathon training.
Peloton Helps You Prepare for a Marathon
One way you can use Peloton content to prepare for a marathon is to use the Road to Your 26.2, parts one, two, and three, Peloton’s outdoor marathon training programs, which include 18 weeks of guided audio classes led by Robin Arzon, Becs Gentry and Matt Wilpers. The programs include features that allow you to track your route and record your metrics to track your progress during your training. We’re excited to find out what other tips Susie and Becs have for future marathoners.
