Bio

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Dr. Charlotte Weidenbach studied human medicine at Charité Berlin, one of Europe’s most prestigious medical universities, and earned her medical degree in 2021 before joining Peloton as a cycling instructor that December. She now lives and works in London. She was named one of three new Power Zone instructors in November 2023, expanding beyond her original cycling classes. Her programming spans cycling, strength, and recovery-focused training, all shaped by a prevention-first approach to fitness: how you train today, she often says, affects how you live ten years from now.

Charlotte teaches the majority of her classes in German (members need to enable German-instructor settings to see her full catalog), though subtitles are available on her German-language rides and she also has English-language content. She’s built a devoted following among Metal and Hard Rock fans, curating playlists with artists like Architects, Sepultura, and Slipknot, and was voted “Most Likely to Lead a Rebellion” in a past Clip Out instructor superlatives roundup. Off the bike, her medical background drives an active Instagram presence: Fact Friday and Myth Monday segments that bust fitness and nutrition myths, an ongoing Q&A series fielding member questions on topics like muscle building and training frequency, and a joint series called Psychology Meets Medicine with fellow instructor Mayla Wedekind.

In February 2026, Charlotte led her first-ever 90-minute Power Zone Endurance ride, a German-language class exploring the science of motivation and dopamine, inviting the Peloton community to share their own stories of setbacks and drive via Instagram. In June 2026, she addressed one of fitness’s most common questions, whether you can train every day, in a detailed Instagram post: her answer was that many people can, but the real question isn’t how many days you train, it’s whether your body can actually recover from what you’re asking of it. That evidence-based, patience-over-hype philosophy has become a hallmark of her coaching voice.
