Healthy Hair Growth Tips from Peloton Instructor Rebecca Kennedy

Who among us has not been doing a Strength Roll Call class with Rebecca Kennedy and gotten completely distracted by her gorgeous hair? Now, anyone who aspires to level up their hair care is in luck! Rebecca has recently opened up about her healthy hair journey and shared 10 tips for hair that looks and feels great.

RK’s Top 10 Tips

  1. Focus on scalp health. The scalp is the soil, and the hair is what grows from it.
  2. Less is more! Rebecca only washes her hair twice a week (gasp!), and each wash has a specific purpose.
  3. In between washes, a massage of scalp oil onto dry hair will work wonders.
  4. Limit how much heat your hair is exposed to (looking at you, hair dryers, curling irons and straighteners).
  5. Give your hair ties a glow up by switching to silk ones.
  6. Be extra nice to your hair when it’s wet. Don’t sleep on wet hair and don’t pull it up into a tight pony or bun.
  7. Brush from the bottom up, starting at the ends and working your way up to the scalp.
  8. Consider giving up the dye or at least the bleach and sticking with your natural color.
  9. Make hair masks part of your regular routine.
  10. Hydrate hydrate hydrate!

Strength Coach AND Hair Coach

RK is currently partnering with dpHue hair products, but she’s got some legit wisdom to share outside of that partnership.  If you’re on your own hair growth journey, or you just want to elevate your haircare game, check out Rebecca’s Instagram Reel for more details on all of her tips.
