Countdown to Turkey Burn 2026 Makes Training Easy as 3-2-1
Peloton’s cross-training plan starts November 2 with three strength days, two cardio sessions, and one Scenic day every week

Countdown to Turkey Burn 2026 brings Peloton’s pre-Thanksgiving cross-training plan back for a second year, starting Monday, November 2. Turkey Burn has grown into one of the biggest days on the Peloton calendar, with members around the world working out together before the holiday meal. This year’s countdown gives everyone a clear weekly plan to get there, and it follows a simple formula: three, two, one.
The Evolution of a Tradition

Turkey Burn started in 2014 as a single Thanksgiving class and has since become a global event. By 2017, it had set its first world record. Yoga and Meditation joined the lineup in 2019, and Fit Family classes followed in 2020 so kids could take part alongside their parents.
In 2022, Alex Toussaint and Matt Wilpers added Turkey Burn classes on the Tread and Row. The 2023 event set two world records and drew enough members to crash the Peloton platform. In 2024, Peloton introduced The Feast, a tag-team Strength class with six instructors. For more on the tradition, see Peloton’s Turkey Burn guide.
Peloton added its first countdown program in 2025, a multi-week cross-training plan with classes grouped by week in a dedicated collection. Read our coverage of last year’s Countdown to Turkey Burn classes for a look at how it came together. Countdown to Turkey Burn 2026 marks the program’s second year.
What’s New for Countdown to Turkey Burn 2026
The Countdown to Turkey Burn 2026 program keeps the cross-training focus and adds a repeatable weekly formula. Every week is as easy as three, two, one: three strength days, two cardio sessions, and one Scenic day.
Classes post to the Peloton schedule on set days, most at 6:30 a.m. ET, so members can take them alongside the community or follow along their way. Whether members plan to take The Feast or Turkey Burn on Thanksgiving, the countdown is designed to get them ready for the big day.
Peloton announced the program on Instagram on October 26. Classes start November 2, and the matching challenge runs through November 25, the day before Thanksgiving.
