Celebrate Canada Day with Two New Classes in Peloton’s Made for Canada Collection

Peloton is expanding its Made for Canada collection with two new classes just in time for Canada Day! Here’s everything you need to know about these new additions.

New Classes in the Made For Canada collection

Peloton has added two fresh classes to their Made for Canada collection (found under the Collections tab), tailored for their Canadian community. The first is a 30-minute run led by Olivia Amato. This run features an all-Canadian playlist with hits from Justin Bieber, Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Avril Lavigne, and more. It’s perfect for those who love a good beat while they hit the Tread.

The second class is a 30-minute Glutes & Legs strength workout, taught by Rebecca Kennedy. This class also boasts a playlist filled with music from Canadian artists like Drake, Nelly Furtado, Sum 41, and Nickelback. Whether you’re looking to build strength or simply enjoy some great tunes, this workout has got you covered.

Celebrating Canada Day

While neither class is specifically designed to celebrate Canada Day, both classes spotlight Canada’s talented musicians. It’s a wonderful way to feel that Canadian pride while working up a sweat.

A brief history on Canada Day for those curious – originally known as Dominion Day, Canada Day marks the anniversary of the Constitution Act, 1867, which united the three separate colonies of the United Province of Canada, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia into a single Dominion within the British Empire called Canada. Now, it’s a day of celebration, marked by fireworks, parades, concerts, and now, if you’re into it, a sweaty workout session too.

Ready to join the fun? Lace up your sneakers or grab your weights, and get ready to sweat with Olivia Amato and Rebecca Kennedy. Celebrate your fitness journey and The Great White North.
