UK Black History Month Strength Class Pairs Hannah and Jermaine
Hannah Frankson and Jermaine Johnson share the mat for a 30-minute encore on October 1 as the UK BHM label returns to Peloton class titles

The UK Black History Month Strength class opens October on the Peloton schedule, pairing Hannah Frankson and Jermaine Johnson for a 30-minute Two for One Strength session on Thursday, October 1. It also brings the UK BHM label back to class titles for the first time since 2021.
The class is titled 30 min UK BHM: Two for One Strength and carries an Intermediate rating. It airs as an encore at 7:30 AM ET. The class card lists the original session as Wednesday, September 23, at 5:40 AM ET, so Peloton had the UK Black History Month Strength class ready before the month began.

How Peloton Has Titled UK Black History Month Classes

Before this year, only two classes in the on-demand library carried the UK BHM label, and both date to October 2021. Hannah led a 20 min UK BHM: Future Icons Ride on Friday, October 8, 2021. Jermaine followed with a 20 min UK BHM Celebration Run on Sunday, October 17, 2021.
In October 2024 and 2025, Peloton celebrated the month under different class titles: Black Around the World, Next Up: Black UK, and UK Black Legends. Those classes span rides, walks, runs, Walk + Run, Strength, and Row, and they remain in the on-demand library for members who want to build a longer October stack.
The UK Black History Month Strength class reunites the two instructors who carried the UK BHM label in 2021. Hannah taught on the Bike and Jermaine on the Tread, and now they share a single class on the Strength mat.
Two more UK BHM classes are joining the schedule this year. Leanne Hainsby-Alldis leads a live 20 min UK BHM: R&B Ride on Monday, October 5, at 7:00 AM ET (12:00 PM BST), and Ally Love is set to lead a UK Black History Month ride at Peloton Studios London. Both add cycling to the lineup alongside the UK Black History Month Strength encore.
Peloton has marked the month in other ways over the years. The Clip Out covered the 2023 UK Black History Month celebration and the Gabrielle Artist Series in 2024, and Peloton’s own blog covered UK Black History Month in 2020.
A Two for One Strength Pairing With History
Two for One Strength classes put two instructors in a single session, and Peloton has used the format often in 2026. The German-language team has rotated new Two for One Strength pairings into the schedule this year, and September’s Oktoberfest classes brought more duos to the lineup. The UK Black History Month Strength class carries that format into October.
Hannah and Jermaine also share recent holiday history. The two anchored Peloton’s UK Mother’s Day classes in March with separate sessions, a ride and an outdoor walk and run. The UK Black History Month Strength class is the first time the pair appears together in a UK BHM title.
UK Black History Month Strength Sets the Tone for October
Opening October with the UK Black History Month Strength class ties the returning UK BHM label to a discipline members already know from the 2024 and 2025 collections. Peloton has not announced whether UK BHM classes will follow in Yoga, Pilates, Stretching, or other disciplines.
For now, the UK Black History Month Strength class gives members a clear place to start October: 30 minutes, two instructors, and a label back on class titles for the first time since 2021. If Peloton adds more UK BHM classes, The Clip Out will update the lineup.
