This and That: Week of August 17

Here we are in mid-August, and the Pelo-news never stops!  In this week’s This and That, we’ll discuss five of the smaller topics to hit the socials that you may have missed, but still want to know.  Enjoy the This and That of the week of August 17!

Tread Deals with NYRR Week!

Run, don’t walk, to grab your Tread or Tread+ if you’ve been eyeing one!  From August 12-August 20 (still a few days left-  promise!), in celebration of New York Road Runners week, if you buy a Tread or Tread+, you can save $250 or $350 respectively.  This is a huge savings, but more than that, these are incredible pieces of workout equipment to add to your home gym.  You won’t regret this purchase, and the savings are an added bonus! 🏃‍♀️

Olivia’s Heart is Full of Puppy Love

Olivia Amato Waldron recently had an exciting ride with PeloPitties, a group who are lovers of both Peloton and pitbulls – a pretty awesome combination if we do say so ourselves!  Not only did the group do a ride with Olivia, they also donated $750 to Muddy Paws Rescue, a local NYC dog rescue.  Olivia took to Instagram to share her gratitude and some great photos from the day. 🐾

Get Ready for Another Fun-filled Lululemon Member’s Weekend!

If you are a Lululemon member and did not get a chance to attend the last Members Weekend at PSNY – or even if you did – get ready, because another is on the horizon for September!  Emails went out to members this past week letting them know that registration for the fun-and-fitness filled weekend will open later this month.  We will surely keep our eyes peeled and hope you do too! 🏋️‍♂️

Denis Showcases His New Haircut

Pre-Covid OGs remember Denis Morton’s long-haired look, but since 2020 the cycling and yoga instructor has kept his tresses short.  Last week, Denis shared an Instagram story of his new…er…haircut.  Showing sculpted abs, Denis apparently also got a haircut, but many members were distracted by the 46 year-old’s super chiseled abs.  Nice, uhhh, haircut, Denis! 💇🏻‍♂️

Cody is Prepping to be Prepped for Artist Series

The majority of members will remember when Peloton released Taylor Swift’s The Torturted Poets Department ride, led by Robin Arzon.  Robin got a bit of negative feedback as she struggled through some song lyrics with members noting that someone more familiar with the artist would perhaps be a better choice to teach Artist Series rides.  Well – Boo to the rescue!  On a recent Chappell Roan ride, Cody commented that no one is to worry – he is well-versed on the words! 🫣

That wraps up This and That for the week of August 17, but we’ll see you next week for the next installment: same time, same place!
