Rebecca Kennedy Salomon Class Hits NYC July 9

The Rebecca Kennedy Salomon collaboration takes center stage at a Salomon members-only event at the brand’s new Flatiron District store in New York City, part of a multi-day grand opening celebration running July 1 through July 9.

Rebecca Kennedy Salomon Event Details

Salomon is opening its newest North American flagship at 141 Fifth Avenue, and the Rebecca Kennedy Salomon collaboration is one of the marquee moments of the launch. On Thursday, July 9, Rebecca will lead a shoe guide and strength session from 7:00 to 9:30 a.m., walking participants through Salomon footwear essentials before guiding the group through mobility work, standing core exercises, and a short walk through the city. The session closes with a light brunch and coffee bar hosted by L’Appartement 4F.

The event is exclusive to Salomon S/PLUS members and requires lottery entry. Interested members can apply directly through Salomon’s official registration page.

A Confirmed Partnership

Salomon’s press materials now refer to Kennedy as a “Salomon partner,” a designation that marks a shift from earlier this year. In April, Kennedy appeared at the Paris Marathon as part of a Salomon pit stop activation, but no formal partnership had been confirmed at that time. The Flatiron store announcement is the clearest signal yet that the relationship has moved from informal brand affinity to an official arrangement.

Kennedy has been vocal about her enthusiasm for the brand independent of any partnership talk. She has called the Salomon ACS Pro her all-time favorite shoe and has worn it in her own Peloton classes, visible to her followers well before any formal tie was announced.

What Else Is Happening at the Flatiron Opening

The Rebecca Kennedy Salomon session is one piece of a larger week of programming tied to the store’s debut. The soft opening will take place July 1, the official grand opening lands July 8, and Olympic gold medalist Jessie Diggins headlines a fitness class on July 7 in partnership with NRTHRN Strong. The Kennedy event and a separate Art of Fashion happy hour both fall on July 9, closing out the activation calendar.

For Peloton instructors, off-platform brand activations like this one continue to expand the ways they build visibility outside the platform itself. Kennedy’s appearance puts her alongside an Olympic athlete in a single brand’s launch week, a notable placement for an instructor whose public profile has grown well beyond the Peloton app.
