TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (9/11/2024)

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

  1. 60 Minute Endurance Run with Mariana Fernandez
  2. 09/06/2024 HIIT Ride with Robin Arzon
  3. 09/06/2024 Walk and Talk  with  Matty Maggiacomo
  4. 09/05/24 Arms and Light Weights Class with Denis Morton
  5. 09/08/2024 House Ride with Benny Adami

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Run

09/05/2024 60 Minute Endurance Run with Mariana Fernandez

Mariana has had a lot of fans lately, and this week two people nominated her premier sixty minute Thursday evening run as their favorite workout!  Nadine Armstrong said the run was “well programmed and had great music as always.”  She was also thrilled that Mariana finally has a permanent spot in the running class rotation, saying that fact gave her a “deep exhale.”  Rebecca Allen agreed that this was a great class, saying “the fact that [Mariana’s] parents were in this class was so special!  I loved the music selection -some songs she has used in the past on her runs and I felt like it was a highlight reel as she takes this next step.”  Congratulations to Mariana, and keep giving us those long runs with great music and a fantastic, inspiring vibe!

2. Favorite Ride

09/06/2024 HIIT Ride with Robin Arzon

This twenty minute ride was very unique – and it quite possibly could have been our unstackable, since Trish McIsaac LaLonde describes it as “triple yellow.”  Trish said that Robin based the ride on “a bike ride she did with Richard Branson on Necker Island when she was there co-hosting an event.  We did six hill intervals followed by Tabata.”  And remember to check the instructors’ clothing colors before you get started – you’ll get a good indication of what choice words you might be yelling during that workout!

3. Favorite Walk

09/06/2024 Walk and Talk  with  Matty Maggiacomo

Last week on the ClipOut Weekly Podcast, Tom and Crystal talked about the new schedule changes and how Matty’s class was moving to a live format.  It’s only fair that his amazing talks happen in front of a live audience, and Dina Williams Rosas got to be in the class live!  She got to meet Matty and said he was “wonderful in person” and that the “class was so much fun.”  This class has some great energetic music and Matty’s usual insightful and hilarious  thoughts on pretty much everything!

4. Favorite Strength Class

09/05/24 Arms and Light Weights Class with Denis Morton

We don’t often  get recommendations for Arms and Light Weights classes, but they really do work your arms in a totally different way than the other strength classes. Elizabeth Schlosberg nominated this class and said that Denis “was on fire with all new moves and really focused attention.”   We’ve heard that Denis can look  right through your soul, and this class is no exception.

5. Favorite Unstackable Ride

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

09/08/2024 House Ride with Benny Adami

This ride was nominated by Michael S. Davern who said Benny “was on fire with an unstackable series of hills and sprints coming at you in waves. He also had a special guest (to him…in the studio that he mentions at the end (I don’t want to spoil his surprise.)  Normally, house music isn’t my thing but when an instructor likes the music, you can tell.  One day later my legs still feel it.  Good luck.”  We’ve been warned… great music but really difficult… and we want to know who the special guest is! Great way to keep us in suspense, Michael!

Thank you!
