TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (10/16/2024)

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

1.10/08/2024 Sims 60  with Jess Sims

2.10/09/2024 45 Minute 90s Row  with Alex Karwoski

3. 10/11/2024 30 Minute BRAT Live DJ Ride with Cody Rigsby

4. Any 5 minute post meal walk followed by a 10 minute restorative yoga class

5. 10/14/2024 30 Minute Tabata Class with Ally Love

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Bike Bootcamp

10/08/2024 Sims 60  with Jess Sims

This bike bootcamp uses light weights, medium weights, and, of course, your bike.  Melanie Mellie Martinous said that this was her favorite class this week adding, “turkish getups are really fun.”  Glad you think so, since this class has eight full minutes of them in one of its three strength section.  Add three go-arounds on the bike, and you’ll definitely be putting the work in to get to the end of this class!

2. Favorite Row

10/09/2024 45 Minute 90s Row  with Alex Karwoski

Mindy Jensen said she enjoyed this row.  “Alex billed it as 90’s guilty pleasures, and any playlist with “Achy Breaky Heart” is certainly a guilty pleasure playlist.  The row started off with an endurance block followed by a block of shorter intervals. The final block was a series of effort builds.”   Mindy was right -a glance at this playlist proved to me that this is an amazing list of songs that make you want to sing along.

3. Favorite Ride

10/11/2024 30 Minute BRAT Live DJ Ride with Cody Rigsby

Kimberly Ray Jessup ( #thekimrunner), thelawmother (#RunFitzRun) and super_trish all nominated this class as their favorite this week.  Kimberly  said  “Cody knocked it out of the park again with this ride!  Having DJ John Michael (and Ren!  – iykyk) along for the ride made it even better!”    A live DJ, fantastic music, and a party like atmosphere with Cody – a ride couldn’t get much better!

4. Favorite Class Pairing

Any 5 minute post meal walk followed by a 10 minute restorative yoga class

Sarah Lester nominated this favorite class pairing, and we bet her family thinks it’s a great idea too!  Peloton’s new 5 minute post meal walks (which you can read about here in the Clip Out’s Article announcing them) have provided quite the buzz (or belch, burp, or fart) lately – these walks are touted as “aiding in digestion,” and we all know what that means!  Follow one with a quick but calming restorative yoga class, and in 15 minutes, you’ve cleared out both your digestive system and your mind.

5. Favorite Unstackable Ride

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

10/14/2024 30 Minute Tabata Class with Ally Love

Michael S. Davern (#MuniMike) loved this tabata class on Monday morning!  Michael said “What a way to start the day or the week.  A warm up.  Then 30 on, 10 off, 7 times for one set.  A 2-ish minute cool down, and repeat it 4 times.  Wow.  Wobbly legs all day but a lot of fun for a tough but doable challenge.”   Wobbly definitely means unstackable – there’s a reason this class is labeled “Advanced” and has an averaged 8.8 difficulty rating by over 5,000 members who have taken it!
