Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite, but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Peloton Pre-Run Warm Up

3/7/24 (or 3/6, depending on your time zone) 5 min Pre-Run Warm Up with Jon Hosking

You’ve heard us say that activating your glutes can improve your quality of life, and it sounds like Mindy Jensen agrees! Her favorite class this week was a Pre-Run Warm Up, a class type that is geared toward prepping your rear for your run!

Mindy said, “This pre-run warm up is perfect! I have been getting better at adding these in before a run and usually just grab one I haven’t done before. Needless to say, this will be my go to (I think I have done it 4 times now). Jon works on single leg activations and balance and includes other moves to get the hips and ankles lubricated. All perfect moves to the body ready for a run!”

2. Favorite Peloton Ride

3/15/24 30 min Live DJ Ride with Jess King

Jess King has officially been setting Peloton’s hearts and buns on fire for 10 years now, and our listeners had nothing but love for her 10-year anniversary ride.

So many folks recommended this class this week, including Michael S Davern: “Such a great vibe with stories and a nice surprise at the end. I’m loving all these anniversary rides. I don’t want to give any surprises away but it was announced that John Michael was droping a remix (hope I’m saying it like the hip kids) of a Donna Summer song on that ride. Nicely done. Great,  fun ride.”

The playlist is–of course–very danceable and includes DJ remixes by Purple Disco Machine, Idris Elba (yes, that Idris Elba!), and our very own DJ John Michael. And while the class is 100% fun, it’s not all games–Jess kicks the class into high gear right from the start with three-and-a-half minutes of intervals followed by a four-minute sustained climb and then alternating climbs and flat roads for the rest of the class!

3. Favorite Peloton Run

3/16/24 45 min Classic Rock Run with Becs Gentry

Becky Kithcart Gomez found a class that will help pass the time while putting in the miles! She shared, “Becs Gentry’s 45 minute classic rock run from Saturday, March 16 was great! The playlist was so fun, she added a lot of race commentary to keep it moving quickly, and I thought it was just the right amount of difficulty.”

The playlist includes true rock icons Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, The Beatles, and AC/DC. Becs is not messing around with this class plan. She starts with a progressive run block, then intervals and longer run segments for the middle, and finishes with an uphill run in the last 15 minutes.

4. Favorite Peloton Intervals & Arms Ride

3/16/24 45 min Intervals & Arms Ride with Robin Arzón

We all know that when Robin wears yellow, we’re gonna be Jello! And this week, that’s exactly what our listeners wanted with this favorite Intervals & Arms Ride.

Trish McIsaac LaLonde said, “If you do one ride this week, do Robin’s 45 min Intervals and Arms from Saturday morning! It had everything – hill pushes, tabata, strength ….great music too. She wore yellow!”

Jessica Sanford said, “Robin’s intervals and arms was pure fire!!!  It was one of her best classes in a while, for me, at least.”

The playlist for this class might be one of the most eclectic yet! Robin features energetic hits from the Beastie Boys, Beyoncé, Eminem, Taylor Swift, Sofi Tukker, and Queen, just to name a few.

5. Favorite Peloton Tread Bootcamp

3/17/24 30 min Bootcamp: Upper Body with Joslyn Thompson Rule

Listener lilnuggetsmama13‘s favorite this week was another perfect combo of upper-body strength and cardio. She said, “Joslyn’s 30 min upper body tread bootcamp!! 🔥🔥 because it was upper body you could push the tread portions more. I also love her and in my eyes she does no wrong! 😂”

Fun fact: This is Joslyn’s first solo appearance on the TCO Top 5. She appeared once before for her two-for-one Galentines Walk + Run with Susie Chan, and we love seeing her on here in her own right. Let’s show her some love and give this class a go!

Thank you!
