Selena Returns to the Peloton Schedule: What Classes Did You Miss Most?

Last Updated: April 19, 2026By Tags: , ,

Peloton instructor Selena Samuela has announced that she’s heading back to the live schedule soon, following her time away after welcoming twin girls Stella and Frankie in December 2025. In a recent Instagram story, the Selena return announcement came with an important question for her community: what class types do members want her to teach when she comes back?

Members have been lucky to get a sprinkling of new class drops while Selena has been out with the most recent being a spicy 10 minute Chest and Back.

Her Second Pregnancy

Selena first announced her second pregnancy in July 2025, later revealing in an emotional Instagram video on August 7 that she was expecting not one but two babies — a surprise that left her and her community excited. The twins were conceived via IVF, and the pregnancy came with some real challenges along the way. She was diagnosed with placenta previa, and her doctors strongly advised her to stop running for her safety and the safety of her babies, a significant adjustment for a running instructor. She shifted her teaching focus to walks, hikes, and strength classes for the remainder of the pregnancy while continuing to show up for her community.

Selena Teaches So Many Modalities

The running and strength instructor explained that she’s excited about the return but also curious about her members’ preferences. Salena teaches multiple class formats across the Peloton platform – from running to strength training to boxing to bootcamp classes and wants to know what her followers miss most. The return will give her the chance to focus on the content her community wants most.

Balancing Training Goals and Teaching

Selena has been focused on a major personal fitness goal: completing an Ironman by the end of 2026. Since welcoming her twins, she’s been training for multisport events while posting updates on her Instagram page on progress along with helpful postpartum exercise tips. Her pursuit of this ambitious athletic goal has naturally shaped when and how much she can teach when she returns to the Peloton schedule, but her energy for connecting with the Peloton community remains high.

What’s Next for the Selena Return

Members can expect the Selena return to bring fresh energy and new perspectives drawn from her experience training for endurance events. Her commitment to her own fitness journey continues to inform her teaching style and the expertise she brings to every class. For now, members can share their preferences on what they’d like to see when she’s back on the schedule.

My daily therapy is provided by Peloton and I truly believe that movement is medicine. I don't discriminate - bike, tread, yoga, strength, pilates and a ton of meditation. By day, I am a psychotherapist and director of a large counseling center in NJ. I am particularly passionate about women's mental health, especially in midlife. By night, I am a mom to 2 dachshunds and a scruffy mutt and wife to a chiropractor that keeps us all moving (yes, that includes the dogs!).
