Rad Lopez House Party Wellness Festival Debut Set for Sept. 20

Rad Lopez House Party Wellness Festival Appearance Adds a Fireside Chat

The Peloton strength, Tread, and boxing instructor joins the September 20 Brooklyn event for a moderated conversation, a newer kind of public appearance for him.

Rad Lopez House Party Wellness Festival plans are set, with the Peloton instructor confirmed for a fireside chat on Sunday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Socceroof in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The event is presented by The Inner U Bootcamp and built around the tagline Music, Fitness and Culture, with Sweatpals handling ticket sales.

Lopez will sit down for a moderated conversation hosted by Mouse Jones, a format billed as a fireside chat rather than a workout session. Promotional clips for this Rad Lopez House Party Wellness Festival appearance that were shared on Instagram show him speaking on influence and impact, including the line that “influence means nothing if you’re not helping somebody to grow.” This is a theme that tracks with the kind of conversation organizers are positioning the chat to be, and a sentiment fans know rings very true to Rad.

Rad Lopez House Party Wellness Festival Fits a Newer Direction

The booking marks a newer kind of public appearance for Lopez. Where the Faces of Fitness Miami event had him leading a live bodyweight strength class alongside other Peloton instructors, House Party puts him in a panel-style setting instead. He has not done much of this format publicly to date, and the shift from leading a class to leading a conversation is worth watching as he, as well as his fellow instructors, experiment with how they show up outside the studio.

The pairing still lines up with what Lopez has built on the platform. He joined Peloton in 2021 as one of its first strength-focused instructors, teaches in both English and Spanish, and is one of the coaches behind the Iconos Latinos collection. The Clip Out recently covered his five-year Peloton anniversary, marked with a 49-class “Greatest Hits” collection, and his most recent 3 Day Split lineup kept his strength programming in regular rotation over the summer. The vibe of this event feels very authentic to Rad.

Lopez Joins a Growing List of Instructors at In-Person Events

Lopez’s appearance announcement closely follows The Clip Out’s coverage of Marcel Dinkins joining the same House Party Wellness Festival lineup as host and emcee. Dinkins is on the mic throughout the day guiding workouts, DJ sets and a deadlift competition, a hands-on role that contrasts with the sit-down format Lopez is stepping into. Together, the two bookings point to Peloton instructors testing different ways to connect with members off the app, from leading a room to simply talking with one.
