Peloton Strength+ Android App Finally Arrives
The Peloton Strength+ Android app is now available, giving Android users access to the guided strength training experience Peloton first launched for iOS in December 2024. As of this morning, the app can be downloaded directly from the Google Play Store, closing a gap that Android-based Members have been asking about since Strength+ debuted.
Peloton says the rollout reflects its broader push to expand access to Strength offerings across its Member base, regardless of device. The company has not announced whether additional regions will gain access alongside this Android launch.
From Beta to Full App
Strength+ began as a wide beta test in September 2024 before its official iOS launch that December. The release marked Peloton’s first new standalone app since the original Peloton app debuted in June 2018, making it a significant addition to the company’s app ecosystem rather than a minor feature update. Today’s Android release brings that same app, built and refined through more than a year of iOS use, to a second platform for the first time.

Peloton says the rollout reflects its broader push to expand access to Strength offerings across its Member base, regardless of device. The company has not announced whether additional regions will gain access alongside this Android launch.
What the Peloton Strength+ Android App Offers
Strength+ is built around two core experiences: a customizable workout generator and instructor-led programs. Members can build routines based on goals, muscle focus, workout length, equipment, and experience level, or follow multi-week programs guided by Peloton’s strength coaches.
The app also includes in-workout guidance through video demonstrations and audio cues, a library of instructional videos covering exercise technique and equipment setup, and progress tracking that logs weights, reps, and milestones. A customizable audio setting lets Members keep listening to their own music or podcast app while still hearing coach cues during a workout.
One difference for Android users to note: Apple Watch syncing for in-workout metrics is currently an iOS-only feature. Android Members will still get full in-app tracking, just without that watch integration for now.
Strength+ workouts count toward daily activity and streaks across a Member’s connected Peloton apps and devices. Peloton has also been clear that Strength+ is distinct from the Gym feature already built into the main Peloton app, which remains available separately.
Pricing and Membership Access
Strength+ carries a standalone cost of $9.99 per month with a 14-day free trial. Members with All-Access, App+, Guide, or Corporate Wellness App+ memberships get Strength+ at no additional cost by downloading the app and logging in with their existing Peloton credentials. Subscriptions can be managed or canceled anytime from the app’s settings menu.
The Peloton Strength+ app is now available for download in the Google Play store.
Where the App Is Available
Strength+ is currently available in the United States and Canada on both iOS and Android devices and Android owners can find it in the Google Play store. Members outside those markets will need to continue using the Gym feature, Strength+’s predecessor, within the main Peloton app until Strength+ expands further internationally.
Today’s release addresses one of the most persistent gaps in Peloton’s app ecosystem since Strength+ launched. However, whether an international rollout follows remains to be seen.
