Peloton Senior Discount Now Live for Ages 65+
Peloton Senior Discount Expands to a Full Rollout for Ages 65+
Peloton has moved its senior pricing program out of testing and onto its official Special Pricing page, joining military, educator, and healthcare worker discounts already in place.
Peloton has officially launched its senior discount program, giving members age 65 and older access to special pricing on the Peloton App and select hardware. The Peloton senior discount had been spotted in limited testing earlier this year, and Peloton confirmed the wider rollout through its own channels and social media this week.
The offer now lives permanently on Peloton’s Special Pricing page alongside programs for military members, educators, healthcare workers, first responders, government employees, veterinarians, and students. Seniors join that list as the newest eligible group, following the same verification process Peloton uses across its other discount programs.
How the Peloton Senior Discount Works
Eligible members must verify their age through Peloton’s third-party verification partner before pricing is applied, the same process used for military, healthcare, and educator discounts. Once verified, seniors can access discounted pricing on the Peloton App and select Peloton hardware, including the Cross Training Bike, Cross Training Bike+, Refurbished Original Bike, Refurbished Original Bike+, Cross Training Tread, Cross Training Tread+, and Cross Training Row+. All-Access Membership is sold separately from hardware, consistent with how Peloton structures every other special pricing group.
On the App side, Peloton lists App One at $9.99 per month, a $3 monthly savings, and App+ at $19.99 per month, a $9 monthly savings. Annual App One drops to $99 per year, saving $30, while annual App+ comes in at $199 per year, saving $90.
The Peloton Senior Discount Confirms What Beta Testing Suggested
We touched on the senior pricing test back in episode 462 of The Clip Out, noting that Peloton had quietly begun showing senior pricing to select site visitors before any formal announcement. That early sighting lines up with what Peloton has now made official, following a pattern the company has used before: test a new pricing tier quietly, then formalize it once it proves worthwhile.
Peloton has leaned on expanded special pricing groups as one lever for member growth, particularly as it works to reach audiences beyond its original core demographic. Whether the senior discount moves the needle in a measurable way will likely show up in future earnings commentary rather than in the announcement itself. For now, Peloton members 65 and older have a clear, official path to savings that didn’t exist in a permanent form before this week.
Full eligibility details and current App and hardware pricing are available directly on Peloton’s Special Pricing page for seniors: onepeloton.com/offers/specialpricing/seniors.
