Peloton Scenic Content Spotted in South of France
Peloton Instructors Filming New Scenic Content in France?
Instructor Instagram Stories Point to a Multi-Day Production Trip
Peloton scenic content may be headed to a new destination. Instagram stories posted this week by instructors Emma Lovewell and Katie Wang show both in the south of France during what appears to be a multi-day production trip. Peloton has not made any announcement, but the posts share enough in common to be worth watching.

What the Posts Show
Lovewell shared a story from her account (@emmalovewell) showing a sweeping coastal view with mountains in the distance and a bay visible beyond manicured grounds, overlaid with the text “AND LOOK AT THIS VIEW.”
Around the same time, Wang (@katiewongspelledwang) shared a series of stories from what appears to be vineyard and countryside terrain at sunset in southern France. The clearest signal: a story showing champagne glasses raised against that vineyard backdrop, captioned “That’s a wrap on day 2.” That phrasing points to a structured, scheduled shoot rather than a personal trip. A follow-up story showed Wang preparing to leave, writing that she could not tell whether she was sad about leaving France or about the 4am departure time, confirming she had wrapped and was heading home.
But wait, there’s more!

The show must go on! It looks like this Peloton producer is working through injury to bring us this amazing content… wow!
Additional stories posted to Instagram by other team members reveal that there is at least one floor based strength class. In addition, both instructors seem to be doing at least two shoots as each has two outfit changes according to photos shared. Katie appears to have departed France before Emma, and it’s noted they the whole crew moved hotels and locations, so the production notes reading “Scenic France” content point to a really wonderful set of destinations!
Inside Peloton Scenic Content
Peloton scenic content has been a consistent part of the platform’s on-demand library for several years. The format pairs instructor narration with footage captured at real-world locations, producing classes available across the Bike, Tread, and Row. Guided locations currently in the library include London, Montenegro, Lucerne, Portugal, and Norway, among others, with additional scenic drops in Chile, Tenerife, and coastal Germany. The Clip Out covered the full scope of what is currently in the Peloton scenic content catalog in its guide to Entertainment and Scenic.
France does not currently appear as a named destination in the instructor-guided portion of the scenic library, which would make a southern France addition genuinely new ground. The settings visible in the posts, a coastal Mediterranean bay from what appears to be an elevated property, and rolling Provençal vineyard country at golden hour, match the visual and geographic profile Peloton has used for previous scenic shoots in Europe.

What classes could they be filming?
So, What Peloton Scenic Content Could They Be Filming?
Lovewell teaches cycling, strength, and Tread classes on the Peloton platform. Each has a clear outdoor application within the scenic content format. A guided hike, outdoor run, or scenic cycling class filmed along the Côte d’Azur or through Provence wine country would all fit naturally within her repertoire.
Wang is one of Peloton’s founding rowing instructors and expanded into strength classes in September 2024. Neither format translates directly to traditional outdoor scenic production, but Peloton has placed instructors in scenic class formats outside their primary teaching modality before. A guided outdoor run or hike would be the most practical scenic fit for Wang in this context. She could also be teaching the Strength class noted in the production photo above. But then again, it could also be Emma. We can’t wait to find out!

No official announcement about these classes has come from Peloton yet, but we’ll be sure to share when it does!
