Surprise: Peloton Podcast Taps Clip Out Host for April 25 2026 Member Focused Episode

Last Updated: April 25, 2026By Tags: , ,

I traveled to New York City to film an episode of the Peloton podcast series, “Peloton: At the Next Table,” alongside fellow community voices John Prewitt and Derek Lockett.

The cat is out of the bag! Peloton invited me to appear on its new Peloton podcast series, “Peloton: At the Next Table,” a four-episode video production hosted by Jon Hosking. The member-focused episode also featured community figures John Prewitt and Derek Lockett, and yes, I kept the secret for weeks!

The invitation came under a strict NDA, which I honored until the first promotional clip dropped publicly. Tom and I made the trip from St. Louis to New York City the weekend before filming, and we did not waste a single minute of it.

Inside the Peloton Podcast Taping

The recording took place at Limusina, a restaurant located beneath Peloton’s New York headquarters that had only been open a few months at the time. As with the other three episodes, Jon Hosking hosted the fourth installment of the series as well. The member-focused episode gave me, John Prewitt, and Derek Lockett space to discuss our individual Peloton journeys, with questions tailored to each of us.

The format was a mix of personal questions specific to each member’s history, broader questions about Peloton, and a lightning round. Two questions submitted by members were also included, though I’ll admit I was puzzled by the logistics since the taping had not been publicly announced at the time those submissions would have been collected.

The session ran long and we were escorted out before we could get photos with Hosky, who stayed behind to record additional segments solo. I won’t pretend that I wasn’t a little disappointed.

A Weekend of Studio Classes and NYC Moments

Before the Monday taping, Tom and I spent the weekend taking live studio classes at Peloton’s New York location. I took a run class with Alex Karwoski on Friday, then a walk and run stack with Matty Maggiacomo on Saturday, both built around themed playlists from the 2000s and 2010s using the same artists across both workouts.

I also briefly connected with Greta Dopp outside the studio after not making it off the wait list for her class. Logan Aldridge was also at the studio that weekend and stopped to take photos with our group. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday!

The Peloton HQ Tour

Following the taping, we were given a tour of Peloton’s Hudson Yards headquarters. The visit included the space used for apparel shoots, the company-wide meeting area, the employee gym, and a look at a new piece of Peloton commercial equipment already in use by staff for testing. Much of the non-Peloton equipment in the gym was Precor, Peloton’s subsidiary brand.

Floors housing executive offices and product prototypes were off-limits and I couldn’t help but think back to a visit Tom and I made to HQ in 2018, when then-CEO John Foley personally gave us a tour. During that particular tour, we got an early look at what would eventually become the Peloton Row, years before it was ever announced publicly. That history really puts the current visit in a different kind of perspective.

What My Peloton Podcast Appearance Reflects

Peloton’s decision to feature members with established community platforms, rather than defaulting to influencer partnerships or internal voices, signals a deliberate choice about who represents the brand in long-form content. I’ll be honest: Peloton has not always spread that kind of access widely, and I was genuinely honored to be included.

The Clip Out has been covering Peloton since 2017, making it the longest-running independent Peloton podcast in the community. For listeners who have followed along since the early days, having that history recognized by Peloton itself feels like a full-circle moment. I also want to give special credit to Peloton team member Anthony Lukom, aka “Ant,”  who had a hand in making the invitation happen.

“Peloton: At the Next Table” began rolling out on Peloton’s channels on March 30, 2026. My episode, alongside John Prewitt and Derek Lockett, is the fourth of the series, and I think I can speak for the majority in saying that we really hope to see more!
