HOKA Ambassador Invites Runners to Chamonix Village

Becs Gentry shakeout run announcement on Instagram Story inviting fans to the HOKA Fly Lab in Chamonix

The Becs Gentry shakeout run is set for Wednesday, August 27, at 2 p.m. local time in Chamonix, France. The Peloton Tread instructor and HOKA Global Ambassador announced the gathering on Instagram just one day before she lines up for the CCC at UTMB Mont-Blanc.

Gentry invited runners to meet at the HOKA Fly Lab in the Chamonix village, where HOKA has set up an activation for UTMB Mont-Blanc week. Her Instagram Story pointed followers to a registration link and used the HOKA campaign hashtag #FlyHumanFly.

Those interested can register for the event here. It’s free and open, following the same format HOKA has used for shakeout runs around other major races this year.

The timing places the run squarely inside Gentry’s own CCC buildup. The 101K race starts in Courmayeur, Italy, on Friday, August 28, and finishes in Chamonix after crossing France, Italy and Switzerland as part of the 2026 UTMB World Series Finals.

Months of CCC Training Led to This Moment

Gentry’s path to CCC included races like the Napa Valley Trail Marathon, the Canyons 50K and the Speedgoat 50K, along with hill-focused work built into her Peloton Tread classes. She detailed the full buildup and the mindset shift behind it in an earlier conversation with The Clip Out about her CCC preparation.

The Becs Gentry shakeout run gives Peloton members and HOKA fans a chance to move alongside Gentry one more time before she takes on Mont Blanc’s alpine terrain.
