Peloton Pinterest Campaign Debuts in New York City
Peloton Pinterest Campaign Unveils Home Gym Inspo in NYC
A digital out-of-home display timed to the NYC Marathon and the Tread Flex launch puts home gym inspiration on city streets, and a Pinterest search shows what people can find.
The Peloton Pinterest campaign is live in New York City, putting a digital out-of-home ad on city streets timed to the NYC Marathon and the launch of Peloton Tread Flex. Michael Calderwood, who works on retail and eComm partnerships at Pinterest, shared the activation in a LinkedIn post and encouraged New Yorkers to keep an eye out for it.
How the Peloton Pinterest campaign reached New York streets
Calderwood called it a Peloton x Pinterest Digital OOH campaign, short for digital out-of-home, the format used for screens and displays in public spaces. He described the activation as an example of how brands can carry the inspiration people find on Pinterest into the physical world. He characterized the placement as timely, relevant, and high-impact around the NYC Marathon.
The Peloton Pinterest campaign is credited to a collaboration across Pinterest, Peloton Interactive, and the media and creative partners behind it. The post does not list specific locations or a run date for the displays.
What the ad shows
The photo shared with the post shows a street-side digital display carrying both Peloton and Pinterest branding, with a QR code at the top. A treadmill with a class on its screen anchors the display, alongside the line Made to fit your life. Beneath it, a Pinterest search bar reads home gym inspo.
What a Pinterest search for Peloton returns

The Peloton Pinterest campaign shows a search bar on the display, so it helps to see what a Pinterest search for Peloton returns. A search for the word Peloton run on November 2 put suggested search chips above the results, including Aesthetic, Room ideas, Bike, and Workout plan. Those chips let a user narrow the results without typing a new search.
The results mix several kinds of pins. A treadmill pin carries a Shop on Pinterest button. A sponsored Amazon listing offers a beginner’s guide to Peloton, and a blog pin lists eight tips for Peloton beginners. Another pin offers a three month Peloton review. A post from a member covers the Peloton classes she repeats every week, shown in a collage of class listings that includes strength and stretching. A sponsored video pin from Peloton promotes an All-Access Membership under the line Find your flow.
Taken together, one search turns up equipment, class ideas, beginner advice, reviews, and room setup ideas through the suggested chips. The home gym inspo search bar on the display points to that same kind of browsing.
The Peloton Pinterest campaign places Tread Flex in front of New Yorkers around the NYC Marathon, in a format built for foot traffic. Whether the placements extend beyond New York is not stated in the post.
