Peloton Partners with Google Fitbit! Yes, Fitbit is Finally Here… Ahhhh!!!

Hell yeah, I love fitness tech, especially when it’s in Android favour (sorry team Apple)!!!! Team Clip Out are echoing the words “Fitbit Finally” in the office today.  You’ll want to pay attention to the recent buzz between Peloton and Google Fitbit!

Today on August 13, 2024, these two fitness powerhouses announced a multi-year, multi-country partnership that’s set to take your workout experience to the next level. Starting in early September, Fitbit Premium users will unlock access to a diverse range of Peloton classes right from their devices. The Peloton classes will be available to Fitbit Premium members in the US, UK, CA, and AU.

I, for one, am excited! Earlier this year, I found myself contemplating switching from my Android to an Apple phone, purely to enhance my Peloton experience. I even considered buying an Apple Watch to stay fully connected during my workouts. However, I ultimately realized I just couldn’t make the switch—I’m a PC person at heart.

Gosh just imagine having top-notch classes across various modalities—like Strength, Pilates, Running, Boxing, Cycling, and even Barre—all at your fingertips! This partnership ensures that new content will roll out incrementally, maintaining that ‘best in class’ vibe we all love. But wait, there’s more! A selection of Peloton classes will be available to all Fitbit users, even those who aren’t Premium subscribers. How great is that?

Peloton’s Senior VP Greg Hybl expressed excitement about this collaboration, mentioning the shared mission to make health and wellness accessible to a broader audience. Plus, for those enrolled as Peloton Members, there are special offers in store for Google Pixel Watch and Fitbit Charge 6 devices. This partnership not only enhances the member experience but also emphasizes Peloton’s commitment to delivering varied and engaging fitness content.

Please note there was some small print in the official announcement and here it is:
