Peloton Announces First Ever Studio Residency

Introducing: Peloton x Defected Records

Peloton has announced a groundbreaking new partnership with Defected Records, the global dance music institution. This collaboration marks the debut of live DJ rides from Peloton Studios London, as well as the brand’s first-ever residency, setting the stage for an immersive fitness experience for Peloton Members.

An In-House Residency Experience

The residency, which kicks off on March 21st, will showcase six cycling classes featuring custom mixes by DJs from the Defected Records roster. Additionally, three Live DJ rides, long a PSNY staple but absent from the PSL lineup, will amp up the excitement, bringing the energy of a nightclub right to your workout session.

Meet the DJs: Arielle Free, Ferreck Dawn, and Monki

The first class, led by Leanne Hainsby, will feature a unique mix by DJ Arielle Free, a renowned broadcaster on BBC Radio 1. Other confirmed DJs include Defected favorites Ferreck Dawn and Monki. The highlight? Ferreck Dawn is set to star in Peloton’s first-ever live DJ ride from Peloton Studios London in June.  No word on which Instructor will be leading that class, however, in their press release, Peloton noted that, in addition to Leanne, Ben Alldis and Hannah Frankson would also be be leading Defected Records residency classes.  Notably, Ben teased this partnership in his New Year’s Eve ride at the end of 2023, and featured a custom remix by Ferreck Dawn on the class playlist.

Gwen Bethel Riley, Peloton’s SVP of Music and Content Partnerships, shared her excitement about the partnership: “At Peloton, we’re committed to content innovation.
