Peloton Chief Marketing Officer Megan Imbres has been named to the 2026 Clio Sports jury, one of nine industry leaders selected to judge entries in the Experiential/Activation, Esports, and Sports Betting category. The Clios announced the panel this week on LinkedIn, pairing Imbres with marketers from Major League Baseball, DraftKings, SPORTFIVE, Octagon, and other agencies and brands across the sports marketing world.

Why Imbres Fits the Clio Sports Jury

Imbres brings more than two decades of brand and creative strategy experience to the role, built across some of the most recognized names in technology and entertainment. Before joining Peloton in July 2025, she served as Managing Director of Marcom LA at Apple, where she oversaw campaigns including the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. She also helped build Netflix’s streaming brand before later establishing Netflix Originals, and led brand marketing roles at Amazon Ads and Quibi.

That range is notable for a jury built around experiential marketing, esports, and sports betting, categories that reward campaigns capable of turning a single moment into a cultural touchpoint. Imbres has already applied that instinct at Peloton, where CEO Peter Stern credited her team with generating more than 60 million organic social views and pulling the brand back into cultural conversation during the company’s Q3 FY2026 earnings call.

She has also been candid about how she thinks the industry should operate. At SXSW 2026, Imbres argued that Peloton’s instructors function as cultural figures rather than fitness coaches, and pushed brands generally to move away from formulaic influencer plays in favor of scrappier, more intentional creative work. That perspective lines up directly with what this jury is tasked with rewarding.

A Fitting Role for an Athlete Marketer

Imbres’s own athletic background adds another layer here. She finished the 2025 Ironman World Championships in Kona and qualified for the 2026 Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice after a rough age-group race at Eagleman. Judging entries built around fan experience and sports culture is not an abstract exercise for her. It is an extension of how she already competes and markets.

Final round judging concludes ahead of the Clio Sports Awards show, scheduled for December 8, 2026, at The Edison Ballroom in New York. Winners across all categories will be announced later this year.
